Bringing up the past...

Mark's POV

  "Jess?!"

"Hi Markipoo!"Jess exclaims while going it for a hug.I don't hug her back and it's just an awkward one way contact. 

"What the hell are you doing here?"I'm still in complete shock, but it seems she didn't notice because she was in her one little fantasy world,just like before.

Jess pulls away from the hug,"I just wanted to come by and say hi." I didn't say anything back because I was worried that Amy would come out of the bathroom any second.

"Well it was nice to see you,um..and yeah.Is that-"I was cut off by a hand coming behind me and touching my shoulder,it was Amy.For a moment I was scared,but then I realix=zed this could help Jess get the hint that I have moved on.

"Hey mark,oh...Hi?"Amy says now looking at Jess."Are you a fan?

"Um,No.I'm actually his ex-girlfriend."Jess looks back at me with a smile."Who are you?"

I stutter like a complete idiot and blurt out,"She's my girlfriend!Amy.Amy this is Jess,Jess this is Amy."I look back at Amy to see the expression on her face,I could tell that she was annoyed,but she still kept a smile on her face.That's one of the many things I like about her.Jess and Amy shake hands after the exchange in smiles.I try not to get in the way and just observe the both of them.I was also wondering the real reason that Jess is here,I just feel she isn't telling the truth.It feels like forever since anyone broke the silence,but finally Jess does.

"Well,I was hoping we can go and hang out,maybe get some coffee?"Amy and I look at each other to decide what we were gonna say to answer her question.We exchange looks and finally answer.

Amy comes up with a solution to throw herself into the invite,"Yeah,That'll be great.Mark,me ,and you.Sounds like a plan."I put my hand behind my back to give her a secret high five,Amy sees and gives me a high five back.Jess nods and we all say our goodbyes.I shut the door behind Jess and flop on the couch.

"What the hell Mark?!What was that about?"Amy asked with her hands on her hips.

"I didn't know she was coming!Do you think I called her here?"I argued back,still lying on the couch.

"I don't know what I think."Amy said turning her head away.I could tell she was very upset about Jess visiting.I didn't enjoy the fact that she did either,I wish she just stayed out of my business. (BTW,i know Mark and Jess are still friends, but for the sake of this story,just let it be.Thanks!<3) 

"Look,everything is gonna be fine when we meet up for coffee with Jess.You are the only one for me.I won't let her come between us and neither should you."I assured her by getting up off the couch and wrapped my arms around her waist.I rocked us back and forth to try and calm her down."She might not even be here to get back together,she maybe just wants to catch up."

"Thanks Mark,I feel better now.You're right,I should know better than to let random scenarios get to me."Amy turned back around and rested her head on my shoulder.

"I love you,don't forget that."I cradled her head while it was resting on my shoulder.

"I love you too,ya big,red haired doof."She responded back."This better not be a bunch of garbo.I better get my iced dark roast with cream and no sugar." I roll my eyes and we both start laughing."Alright,let's get to bed."I nudge her shoulder and we go upstairs.
