My life as a teenage half Vampire...Damn

15 Years ago 

"Roxie! where are you? Come out, come out where ever you are!" Jake said as he looked for me behind the bushes. My three year old nature made me giggle as his 16 year old nature came and grabbed me. Jake kissed my neck and cheek and forehead and belly. 

"I told you I'd find you 'cause you just can't keep your cute mouth shut." He said. "Lets go and give you a bath, you're covered in dirt." He said as he let me down and took my hand. I ran away from him with my vampire speed. 

"I don't wanna bath! I wanna play!" I yelled. Well I don't want to take a bath! 

"You're gonna have to if you want to come and sleep over in my house and in my bed." Jake threatened. 

"Then come and catch me." I screamed and ran like a cheetah and into the forest we call a back yard. Really, it is a forest! and we use it to go camping. 

As I ran, I heard Jaky's clothes rip. Which means he transformed into a ten foot tall wolf! I screamed in excitement and ran faster. I saw a squirl and caught it with my hands and admired its prettiness as I ran. Then whispered sorry to it in the ear, then kissed it's head and drank his blood dry and killed and animal. 

I stopped running and putted the squirrel in the dirt and knelt down beside it. I'm sorry, I thought and cried. 

This is the down part of being half immortal and half mortal. You aren't fully satisfied with what you eat. Me and my dad have the same problem. But my dad is a full vampire as he fell in love with a mortal called Mom. She got married with him and pregnant with me as a mortal. When she gave birth to me, she wanted to turn into a vampire because the process of giving birth to me almost killed her. So dad turned her and they live happily ever after. 

But we only feed of animals. But it hurts just as much as a human because they both have lives. That squirrel probably had a family. And I've taken it away from them. 

I was busy crying that I didn't notice Jake's arms around me. Pressing me tords his strong chest. I wrapped my arms around his neck and cried as he held me and comforted me. 

"What's wrong Rox? What happened?" Jaky asked. 

"I killed a squirrel because I was thirsty. But I don't want it to die and now it's dead!" I sobbed harder on his shoulder. 

"It's okay, Roxie. It's okay. You can't help it. You'll learn how to control it once you are older. Relax. You're forgiven." 

"I am?" I asked. 

"Yes, you are. You know what will make you forget about the squirrel?" he asked. 

"No, what?" I sniffed. I raised my head to look at his carrying eyes. 

"A bubbly bath at my place." 

"Okay." I sniffed again. He grabbed me and carried my on his side. 

"Jake, wait. You're naked!" I said as I covered my eyes. He laughed. 

"Yea, but I have my back up clothes in a tree. I'll get them and then you can take a bath." he said with a smile. 

"Okay." 

He put me down and began to change as I played with my hands and kept looking down at my dirty flower dress. I am a mess! Maybe I do need a shower. 

Jake finished and gave me a piggy back ride all the way home and then opened the door. 

"Daddy! Mommy! We're back!" I yelled as they came out of nowhere and took me from Jake. Mommy kissed me on the cheek and handed me to daddy who kissed me everywhere and tickled me.
