Getting the kids

Hey!!! Your author here for a second. Just wanna say sorry for any bad editing and the long wait! I am currently finishing up my other book and helping some friends of mine with theirs!! And to tell you the truth, I would of uploaded sooner if it weren't for the scrappy internet. But hey! Better late then never!!!!!! But it still does not excuse me. So sorry!!! Oh, and Jake's pov may be on the next chapter! And if not, then in th other one. I know how much you guys love his pov. ^^ anyways, enough rambling and start reading! I hope you enjoy it! It's a little boring, but it needs to be written for the exciting chapters!!!!

Once we got to our home, we sat down in front of the tv.

"Roxie? Can you make us some cookies and brownies? And make it a lot, we have kids to feed now." Kyle asked.

"Yeah. Just let me see the documents first." I answered.

"Ok. Let's see if they gave us the money to take care of them." Myles asked.

"How did they get this much money in the first place?" I asked.

"Beats me." They said at the same time.

We dug in our bags and took the documents out. I dumped the files on the coffee table and spread them out.

I found a fat envelop saying 'Money'. I opened it and saw a lot of mushed up rolls of Benjamin's.

My eyes widened.

"Daaaaaaaaaayyyyuuuuuummmm!!!!!!" Myles and Kyles said as they saw my envelope. They looked in the stacks of papers and found an equally fat envelope.

And they screamed again.

"At least we have money for them." I said.

They just nodded.

I put the envelope down and saw the files.

Birth certificates. News articles. Report cards. Student files. Medical files.

And finally, what I was looking for. Annie's biography papers.

They were clipped next to her reports. Her experimental reports.

I pit that one away since I had no interest in getting sad an pissed right now.

I took the bio file first and read.

When Annie was born, her mother suffered a blood loss, almost dying and accidentally killing Annie in the process. Therefore, Annie suffers from Learning problems (ADD). She is a tranquil little girl who has an obsession with fireflies. Loves coloring and painting.

Is allergic to cats.

Kidnapped at age four.

Then there shows pictures of her when she was recently found. She looked battered and bruised. Nothing Like the lively and bubbly girl in the photo.

She had a busted lip and a black eye.

She looked very weak.
