A/N ~Please read first~

This is a quite a hard hitting mini story. Know that I do not advise anything that happens in this. Bullying, self-harm, suicide are very bad things and I certainly don't encourage it. Everyone needs to try and prevent these things as people around the world are constantly being victims to this sort of behaviour - physically, verbally, through messages (cyber bullying) etc. Whether the bully knows what can happen if they push things too far or not, it needs to stop. Thanks for reading.

My slender fingers clutched the cold, frosty bar. Letting the pain flow through me as its rusty surface cut into my skin, I took a deep, shaky breath. My eyes wandered across the city. People were busy shopping, holding their babies - getting on with their lives. I looked down at my boney pale arms. The scars across the back of them clearly visible in this light. This is what they have done. They've caused me pain, tears and hope that will soon be crushed seconds after. They don't understand what they've done. They will never understand my pain. Their threats and insults echoed in my ears drowning out the street below. Fat. Ugly. Bitch. Slut. Loser. Loner. Sticks and stones will break your bones but words will never hurt you. I'm here to prove that statement wrong. I'm here to show people what they have caused. I'm here to show you that words won't hurt you but scar you. I'm here to show you that verbally is just as bad as physically in every way. I'm here to show you that I did have people to talk to. I'm here to show you that no matter how hard they try, that the bullying might never stop. I'm here welcome my death in open arms. They said I was the devil. I guess it's time to find out. A single tear shed from my eye. I smiled knowing that I won't be able to feel the pain, hear the threats and insults ever again. I smiled because I knew, the aching in my heart will go away. I took a step towards the edge. And I finally set myself free.
