The fire

She ran in,

She ran out,

She jumped over,

She dropped under,

She bounded ahead,

She fell behind,

To give a kiss to one she forces to tumble.

He danced his way in,

He danced his way out,

He made his way over,

He made his way under,

He flew ahead,

He stalled behind,

To give a kiss to one he forces to crumble.

When they're together,

They share a light touch,

Causing a million fireworks,

Within a small nudge.

They share a minor reaction,

Causing something so much bigger.

And when this happens,

They never cease to hinder.

He was the match,

She was the spark,

And when they're together,

They cause a flame.

But as the intensity grows,

The light glows,

Bigger and bigger,

Until you have something dangerous,

Yet something helpful,

All in the name,

Of a four letter word.

I like to say this is the start,

This is the start of something two-faced,

But you all say something different,

Yet something so alike,

And let me tell you,

You like to call it,

The start of a fire.

They are the fire,

The match,

The spark,

They are the flame,

That can't be tamed.
