The dance (finally)

Sabrina's POV

WOOOOOO! The dance was finally here! There was about 5 hours until we had to get to the dance. Perfect.

We went to Irene's house to get ready together and I even told the boys to come pick us up there.

Now for the difficult part...

Luna's POV

We had another half an hour until the boys came. And Sabrina almost poked my eye out with an eyelash curler. Or as I like to call it, a modern torture device. The last few hours were a frenzy of powder, squeals and dresses being flailed around. As of now I was hiding directly below the balcony. Why you may ask? Well let me tell you. After the eyelash curler thing, they actually tried to put more makeup on me.

Being the person that I am, I bolted. And I was so grateful I didn't get heels because I wouldn't have ran that fast if I were wearing them. My dress was mobile so lucky me.

I checked the time. 6.46pm. They should be getting here soon. After a few minutes I went back into Irene's house. I could happily tell that they already gave up on makeup. So I plopped down on the couch and watched YouTube.

I was halfway through 'Try Guys Try 2016 trends' when there was a knock at the door. The girls sped down from Irene's room and did a few more final checks before opening the door. Standing right there were...

Lay, Suho and Xiumin. All three of them looked like they saw ghosts, in a good way.

Lay looked at Sabrina like she was the only girl in the world. He didn't even waste a second before running over and picking her up. Making me visually cringe.

Suho was similar but instead of hugging Irene. He reached over to touch her so gently, as if she was made of glass and would break any second.

Me and Hazel were just standing there awkwardly, not wanting to ruin such a mood. Oh, did I mention Hazel was there too. If I didn't, then... she's here too.

Hazel's POV

She kept looking at the both of them. She didn't even notice that-wait. What's his name- xuimin, xwimin, Oh I got it! Xiumun! Wait no that's not it. Never mind I'll just ask again later. That other guy was just staring at her. It was so cute. I wondered if he was her date...

"Hey, Luna!" She turned to me with a confused face.

"You have a secret admirer over there." I gestured to that guy.

"You mean Xiumin?" Ooohhh! So that was his name. Dam I was so close too.

"Yup" she looked over and caught him staring. He looked away with a pinkish face. Awwwwww!

Luna giggled a little and walked over to him. Soon they were in a world of their own. And I just stood there awkwardly. I was basically the third, wait no scratch that, seventh frikin wheel.

Luckily for me, Luna noticed, finally... and made us get on our way.

Luna's POV

We were finally there. I thought we'd never get here.

I've always wondered why schools have so many dances. Why not just have one at the end of every year. No wonder school's are always in need of funds.

Aish...

I was beside the food when I spotted Jamie. He was alone.

Where's Quinn...

By the looks on his face, he was looking for her too. I scanned around the crowd until I saw familiar brown hair tied in a slick ponytail. That was her, no doubt.

She had her hands around some weirdo that was obviously wayyy to talk for her. I caught a glimpse of his face when he spun her around.

Kevin...? What the hell?

I was focused on Kevin when suddenly Xiumin popped up behind me.

I stifled a shout, "Ah! don't scare me like that."

"I'm sorry I just wanted to know if you... maybe... wanted to dance." He spoke the last few words very quickly. Aww, he's shy.

"Sure. But let's wait till the next song." He nodded and left me alone for the time being.

I pushed my way past a bunch of half-drunk people. The drinks were spiked again. This is why I never drink the punch here. I when I got to Jamie he was sitting on a bench with a flower in hand. When he finally looked up...

"What do you want."

"Woah there. C'mon you're sad. And this is supposed to be a happy day." He just looked at me through his fringe.

"I've been waiting for Quinn this whole time. I'm starting to think she blew me off." Oh no. He didn't know she was right there. In the center, possibility kissing Kevin. Wait, what am I saying. Definitely kissing Kevin.

Shyt, that meant I had to break the bad news. I shouldn't have came here. Here goes nothing...
