Pain Brings Bonds ~Kakashi Love Story~

~.Chapter Three.~

It had been four days since Minato left with his team on a mission in the war. Team Hiroshi stood in a triangle formation on the training grounds, a two on one match held between the team: Hideo and Akio Rideiku vs. Ayaka Namikaze.

Akio and Hideo stared intensely at the kunoichi thirty feet away from them as all three panted heavily. Akio has a natural affinity for water and Hideo has a natural affinity for lightning but their attacks on using ninjutsu weren’t very reliable.

Ayaka had a natural affinity for both wind and fire. Fire is weak against water but when Akio tried using a water release technique, the water only evaporated. Ayaka puts more chakra into her jutsus than Akio does. Then there’s Hideo with his lightning techniques but it is weak against wind.

After failed attempts with ninjutsu, they relied on taijutsu and genjutsu, their strengths. 

Still, it was difficult fighting Ayaka. On previous matches the trio had where Ayaka stood to fend for herself against the twins, they would succeed in beating Ayaka as equally as she would defeat them using their advanced taijutsu skills but now that she’s been practicing the Flying Thunder God Technique that makes her brother the fastest shinobi alive, even trying to attack her with taijutsu has become a challenge but they still succeeded every here and there.

Ayaka smirked at the two twins as they looked at each other and nodded. Ayaka knew that by now they had found the locations of where the few special kunais she had set around the area so she was going to have to be more wary and cautious. Hideo and Akio were quite fast and agile themselves. Her face turned back into a serious one as she awaited her teammates’ attack. 

Akio created four water clones of himself and they positioned themselves amongst the four special kunais Ayaka set. She admired the counterattack for a moment before Akio dashed forwards first and Hideo followed. Ayaka reached into her kunai pouch. Ayaka got into a position where her right arm was hidden from their view with an extra special kunai she kept with her on her grip and a regular kunai on her left grip in sight. The twins got closer when a loud voice distracted her.

“Alright, go Ayaka-chan!” Ayaka looked towards the source of the voice to see it was none other than Obito Uchiha cheering her on with Rin Nohara smiling at her and Kakashi Hatake with just a boring look on his face. Ayaka growled as she turned her attention back to the twins who were smirking thinking they got her; if she transported herself to one of the special kunais, their clones were there positioned and ready to attack her. Their fists were only inches away from her when she disappeared and all they saw was a special kunai rotating in mid-air where Ayaka once stood. They heard an immediate splash of water follow. They underestimated her speed.

“Shit,” the twins cursed at the same time. As soon as they said that, the twins grunted in pain as Akio was punched to crash onto the ground and Hideo was kicked on the side to fly towards the trees. Obito’s and Rin’s eyes widened as Hideo flew towards them and they jumped out of the way while Kakashi jumped over Hideo’s passed just as Hideo shot past them and he himself crashed into one of the trees with wreckful force. 

Ayaka swiftly landed on the ground as she caught the special kunai through the hole with her forefinger, spinning it until she set it on her grip.

“Sa…” Akio muttered as he slowly stood up, placing his hand over his back as soon as he did so. “Here goes nothing…” Akio straightened his back and a loud pop was heard and he sighed in relief. Behind Rin and Obito, Hideo did the same. 

“Damn you, Ayaka-chan,” Akio hissed at his teammate while she just laughed as she put away the two kunais and went to gather the four special kunais she had planted in different locations. Hideo slowly walked, or limped, over to his brother.
