Four Days Later--Friday

Punk's POV

"I'm bruised, battered, and restless. I just want to stay here on my bus and relax."

"Phil, you said that you would get breakfast with us some other time. Today is some other time. So let's go!" AJ said, tugging on my arm.

"Ugh. Fine, I'll come. But on one condition."

"And that is?" AJ asked.

"There will be no mention of my personal life. I don't want to talk about my situation with Angel...none of it."

"Okay, Phil. But you need to talk to someone about it; you can't keep holding everything inside. You'll feel better once you talk about it."

"I've kept everything inside and I'm okay. I won't feel better once I talk about it. I'll feel better once Angel is safe and back in my arms."

"Phil, you're not okay. I'm trying to be a good friend, but you're not allowing me to do that."

"So, I'm the bad guy for not wanting to share my feelings? If I'm not ready to be open about how I feel, then I'm just not ready. You can't make me open up to you, April. Geez, just give it a rest!"

"Okay, I will." AJ got up and walked towards the front of the bus.

"Where are you going?" I asked.

"I'm leaving. I'll come back when you're in a better mood." AJ left.

"Great. Now she's mad at me too."

A Few Hours Later

Angel's POV

"Okay, you can uncover your eyes now." I took off my blindfold to see a helicopter.

"You're probably wondering why your surprise would involve a helicopter. You probably thought I had forgotten... But, remember when you told me that you've always wanted to view New York City from the sky? Well that's what we're going to do today."

"Awww, you remembered! I told you that on our first date." I hugged and kissed him.

"So, you ready?"

"Yes!" I screamed with excitement.

Jason let me get into the helicopter first and then he followed. Once we were settled, we started to lift off the ground.

We flew over the city and over the Hudson River. Jason and I held hands as we looked around in awe. It was beautiful! I got to see New York's most famous attraction...the Statue of Liberty!

We stayed up in the air for about two hours before landing. After we got off the helicopter, I saw a vehicle parked beside Jason's car.

Jason took my hand in his and led me towards the vehicle, realizing that it was a Cadillac Escalade. It was black with tented windows. The driver go out and shook Jason's hand.

"This is Sean; he will be your driver for today. He will take you wherever you want to go. I want you to take my credit card and shop until you drop. Then, Sean will drive you back to Jersey for your other surprise." Jason handed me his credit card and kissed me goodbye. Sean opened the door for me and I slid into the backseat. He got in and we drove towards the city.

The sun was setting when it was time to head back to Jersey. Sean struggled as he carried all of my shopping bags. He quickly put my stuff in the trunk and got into the driver's seat.

We were about thirty minutes away from my house when Sean turned on the radio. A song went off and "Cult of Personality" by Living Colour started. I caught myself singing it and then I thought about Phil.

"You miss him. You care about him. You love him," said my conscience. I shook away the thought.

Sean parked in the driveway and helped me out of the backseat. I unlocked the front door and Sean carried my bags inside. When I walked inside, candles and rose petals were scattered in a trail.

I rushed upstairs for a quick shower. I wore one of the dresses that I just brought. It was a red diamond encrusted sweetheart dress with heels to match. After putting loose curls in my hair and applying some makeup, I scurried downstairs. Sean was gone and I was alone. I followed the rose petals outside. On the deck there was a table made for two with candles. Jason stood in front of it, holding a dozen roses.

"You look amazing." Jason said as I walked towards him.

"You don't look too bad yourself." He wore a black tuxedo. Jason handed me the roses and pulled out my chair so I could sit. He sat down across from me.

"Gosh, this is so sweet. I can't believe he did this."

"Jason, today has been incredible! I can't believe you did this."

"I was hoping you would like it."

"I love it!" I smiled.

"I'm glad. I did have some help though." Jason said. Sean appeared as our waiter; he placed our meals in front of us and walked away.

After we finished eating, Jason turned on some music and we slow danced while looking into each other's eyes. Once the song ended, we stopped dancing and looked up at the stars.

"Hey, you see that?" Jason asked.

"See what?" I questioned.

"Right there." Jason pointed up at the eastern part of the sky. As I directed my attention to what he was pointing at, fireworks burst in the night sky. They spelled: "I LOVE YOU!"

Jason cupped my face in his hands and kissed me. Time froze as we made out under the moonlight.
