I took in my surroundings. Right now I was hiding underneath a table, with what might be a pie in my hand. I was covered in everything imaginable. I heard Christie’s evil laughter as she called out each of our names, “Zeus! Drew! Michelle! Come out come out wherever you are!” I shivered her voice was close.

Suddenly her face popped out of nowhere, “Hey Zeus!” she said cheerily as she epically failed at hiding the piece of cake hidden behind her back.

“Hey, Christie,” I said, plastering a smile on my face as I tried to slowly sneak out the other side of the table.

She gave her signature evil grin, “Aw come on Zeus, stay under here and have some fun!”

Uh oh she saw me trying to sneak away. I weighed my options, flight or fight? I frowned the idea of fighting against Christie in a food fight wasn’t the most unappealing thing I had thought because I just knew who would end up covered in food ranging from cream puffs to cake. I quickly turned and rushed out from under the table.

As soon as I was no longer under it I scrambled to my feet, Christie gave her spine chilling battle scream, “Get back her you wimp!” she screamed, chasing after me.

“Never, you crazy lady!” I called over my shoulder as I took a sharp turn around the granite-like counter top, to find the corner covered in a dark liquid that had the velocity of honey. I cursed as I went sailing through the air and into a huge fridge. I groaned as my shoulder hit it with great force. Ugh that was going to leave a bruise.

Christie stopped in front of me, grinning like the wicked witch of the west. “Please I surrender!” I said holding up my arms.

Christie opened her mouth to speak when a clear, authoritive tone, “Pallasathea’s do not surrender.”

I froze, as did Christie who had the cake ready to throw at me. Out of the corner of my eye I watched Michelle scramble out of a cabinet and Drew pop out from behind a heap of potato sacks. They got next to each other and curtsied at a figure obscured from my vision due to my low height at the moment.

As Michelle came from her bow she shot her eyes over to me, “Zeus, Christie this is mother, Queen Morgan.”

It clicked in my mind what she was trying to tell me, that I had to bow and Christie curtsy because she was royalty. I quickly scrambled to my feet, but fell face forward again due to the dark liquid. I groaned as it smeared all over my face. I heard Christie’s laughter as an idea popped into my head. Sitting up I grinned up at Christie who was holding her side, trying to subdue her laughter.

“Come here, sis, and give your twin a hug!” I said cheerily as I grabbed her wrist and pulled her down, smothering her in a hug, while covering her in the dark liquid.

“ZEUS LET ME GO!” she squealed as I scooped up as much of the stuff from the ground as I could and plopped it down onto her head.  She tried to wiggle out of my grasp, but it was useless I was stronger than her.

Suddenly someone cleared their throat and that was when I remembered that the Queen was in the room. I quickly looked up to see a women standing in front of me. She had long, midnight black hair that went down her shoulders in waves like the ocean; her eyes were the color of a clear sky back at the Sky Domain, and her skin of porcelain. But what gave her the motherly feel was the warmth in her eyes with the hint of playfulness, she looked like the complete opposite of the King.
