Everyone was screaming all around me. The Aliens were flying around the city on their alien Minnie crafts, zooming past the window. I heard the sound of a whistle getting closer and closer until the window on the other side of the room exploded, sending pieces of glass everywhere. I stood up and noticed the sting on my cheek, most likely form a piece of glass. I began to run out of the cafe and into the battle field. Large pieces of stone and other building supply were littered around the main streets. Cars were morphed into something unrecognizable. People were running around barely missing the lasers that were shot from the sky. I began to hear crying and Looked over to see a six year old little boy crouched under a stone making him invisible for anyone to see him. His clothes were covered in dust and blood. The water from his tears mixing with the blood and dirt as it rain down his small face. I ran towards the boy and wrapped him in my arms.

"Shh, It's OK" I whispered into his hair as he began to calm down in my arms. The whizzing of one of the aliens flying passed us was interrupted by the sound of breaking metal. It then went quiet. That was until we began to hear feet crushing the gravel and broken tar of the road. Slowly a pair of black boots and the bottom of a long red cape came into view. The boy leaned further into my chest as the feet came to a halt in front of us, but we still couldn't see who it was. Slowly I covered the boy eyes, as well as closing my own, as the person began to crouch down to our level.

"It is not safe for two mortals such as yourselves to be hiding so out in the open like this!"

I opened my eyes to see a young man crouching in front of me. He had long blonde hair and a light beard. His cape was connected to his black and silver uniform. In his left hand we was holding a Hammer and his right hand was stretched out towards us.

"I suggest you take my hand mortals so that you can live" he said with a stern voice.

I let the boy out of my grasp and lead him over towards the man slowly and carefully. Once the boy was safe in the man's arms I began to crawl out from under the rock and back into the battleground. The man was carrying the boy towards one of the cafes where some of the civilians were waiting for them. I was running behind them but as I closed in on the shop I began to hear the sounds of something coming closer towards me. I turned to see one of the aliens flying towards me on their hovercraft, holding a sword and swinging it towards me.

"Milady!!!" I heard the man from before cry before everything seemed to slow down and a different voice was heard in my head. This voice was low but also had a sense of calmness in it. It was soft and caring.

"Close your eyes, Erika, and let the winds and earth guide you" it said before I automatically obliged. When I closed my eyes I could feel my hands beginning to rise and a rumbling sensation began to appear in the ground below me. Slowly the rumbling stopped and the sound of the destroying city around me came back in my ears. I opened my eyes and saw the alien. It was spiked by the rock right through the center. Black blood was oozing out of its many wonders and the sword was now lying on the ground below me. I felt someone place their hand on my shoulder and turned to see the man from before. His eyes continuously flicking between me and the alien.

"If I may, but who are you?" he asked as his grip tightened ever so slightly around my shoulder.

"Erika Foster" I simply replied. His eye widened as he looked straight at me.

"Foster? As in Jane foster?" he whispered.

"Yes she is my older sister." I said raising an eyebrow. How the hell did this guy know my sister?

"Hold on tightly" he said before wrapping both arms around my waist.

"WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING!!!!!" I began shouting and hitting his frame. I felt the wind around me speed up and I looked up to see the air around me changing into striped of blue, gold, white and green. The glimpses of the world beyond the newly made rainbow circle showed the boy and other people fading ever-so-slightly before the colors covered them completely. Slowly the colors began fade and I found myself standing outside of the house that Jane and I live in without parents. The old farm house was fading into cloud white color and the blue fence badly needed a new coat of paint. All the windows in the two story house where open letting the curtains fly freely through the window.

I turned around to face the man but the colors from before were surrounding him again and before I knew it he was gone.

I wonder how he was? What he was even, but my thoughts were cut short when Jane slammed the front door open.

"ERIKA!!!" she cried as she ran over to me. "What happened to you? Your bleeding and your eyes....." she trailed off as she placed her hands on my face to. "Come we'll talk more about this after you clean" she said as she dragged me inside.

I soon found myself sitting up on the counter in the kitchen with Jane placing the last of the bandages on my legs.

"So tell me what happened?" she asked joining me on the counter.

"Well.....maybe you should turn the TV on, it might give you a better idea on what happening." I said quietly but of course she heard me. She jumped of the counter and walked towards the living room and turned the TV on. She didn't talk anymore after seeing what was happening in New York, even when I asked her about my eyes she said nothing.
