"Erika, ERIKA" Jane screamed as she watched her sister fall into an unconscious state. Lying so still that if you hadn't noticed her chest breathing, you would have thought she was dead.

"She will be fine Jane, you have no need to worry about her safety." Frigga said as she removed the ilusion, returning Erika to her original form. Her skin, now paler than before the fight.

"I thought that was you," Thor said from his place on the stairs. His voice soft as he made his way over to kneel next to his mother. "I thought it was you Malekith killed, but Instead it was your sister, Jane I am truly sorry." Jane let out a choked sob as she looked down at her sister, tears slowly falling down her face.

"She is not dead!" Frigga said more forcefully this time as Odin walked into the room, hand resting on the hilt of his sword. "Do any of you see blood?" Frigga asked guestering to the floor around Erikas body.

"No, but..." Thor began.

"Now look at this," Frigga said, peeling back the torn fabric that surrounded the sword wound on Erika's stomach. The blood that had originally been flowing out of her body was now flowing back in. Her skin then began to heal itself, one layer at a time until there was no wound or even a scare, it appeared that the battle had never happened.

"Thor please take Erika back to her room, make sure the maids place some food on the bedside table as well. Jane I would suggest that you let your sister rest, as you can see she is healing and will be perfectly fine." Frigga said as she reached over to place a hand on Janes back.

Carefully and without question, Thor picked up the unconscious girl before heading towards the door, passing a confused Odin who watched him as he passed. Looking back at Frigga and Jane who have now moved themselves to sit on the edge of the fountain, Odin gave a small nod before leaving as well to attend to his kingdom's needs for recovery.

"What do you mean she will be alright? You saw the sword go right through her didn't you?" Jane asked, her voice raising ever so slightly louder than before. Firgga took in a deep breath before turning her whole body to face the distressed girl.

"Your sister," Frigga began softly, slowly grabbing Janes hand, "she is adopted, yes?"

"How did you know?" Jane asked, eyes locking with the queens.

"I found her earlier today in the palace library, she somehow found her way there. She was reading a book, a very old book from a kingdom far away called Alfheim." Jane tilted her head in curiosity as the queen dipped her hand into the water of the fountain creating images of a land of beauty, greenery and happiness. "For years we believed that the kingdom was dead, disappeared into the void of time, its people forever lost, but for some reason your sister knows the ancient language of the Alfheim elves. No one on Asgard can understand the words written in that book. No one but her."

"What happened?" Jane asked looking deep at the images ripperling before her.

"A great tragedy," Frigga began, the images changing to one of battle and chos, "the frost giants of Jotunheim attacked wanting to before the superior and most powerful race. You see the elves of Alfheim where nothing like the dark elves, they were kind and considered to be the most powerful race the nine realms contained. They could manipulate any form of matter whether it be earth of water, darkness of light. They were so powerful that they could heal themselves evern of the brink of death and bring those who had died in unnatural causes back to life, that is if they had the body."

"That's impossible," Jane said suddenly, abruptly standing up in front of the fountain.

"Is it?" Frigga asked, dissolving the images before standing as well, "you saw what just happened. You saw the blood from Erika's body return to her, besides how do you think she knew how to fight? For that, my child was not any of my magic." Frigga gave a small smile before turning to make her way to the door, leaving Jane to follow.
