Chapter 6 - Thor

After sitting there with a knocked-out Jane for what seemed like hours before the column and everything else surrounding us slowly began to vanish and soon I found us sitting in the Factory again. I turned to face the original dark corridor only to find that it was now swimming with light and that I could see the end of it. I felt movement on my legs and turned to see Jane waking up.

"Jane are you alright?" I asked as I helped her to sit up. She still looked dazed and curious about what we had just witnessed.

"Fine, I'm fine." she stood up and grabbed my hand, dragging my back the way we came in hopes of finding Darcy and Ian.

"JANE!!!" I looked forward and saw Darcy running towards us with three police cars parked behind her, "Where the hell were you?" she asked with a concerned yet angry tone.

"Please tell me you didn't call the cops?" Jane asked letting go of my hand as we came to a stop in front of Darcy. The continuous rain soaking through our clothes.

"What was I supposed to do?" she asked with annoyance.

"Not call the police!?" Jane shouted back.

"Jane you know Darcy would call the police only if it was her last option, she was worried about us so don't yell at her about it" I said stepping in between the two, "I would do the same thing If I was in her shoes and who knows how long we were gone for, where ever we were could have had that time warping effect on our reality like in those Narnia stories."

Jane looked at me, her eyes filled with annoyance, while Darcy gave a small smile.

"You call the cops they tell the feds, the next thing you know we have SHIELD crawling all over area fifty-one and wanting the place." Jane said in a more hushed tone towards us. I sighed as Jane continued, "We had a stable gratification anomaly, we had unheeded access. Our only competition was ten years old!"

"Jane, you two were gone for 5 hours!!" Darcy shouted, gaining our attention.

5 hours? That's impossible?!

"What?" Jane asked as the rain began to get heavier. Soon the sound of thunder and a flash of lightning went through the sky before the place where we were standing stopped raining but looking around I could see the rain still pour down around us.

"That's weird?" I said as I looked up at the sky. I heard Darcy make a slightly strangled noise as her eyes widened at something behind us. Both Jane and I turned around and saw that man that had saved me for the aliens in New York with the red cape, blond hair and the hummer. Jane began to walk over to the man and as she walked further away from us the rain poured down on Darcy and I.

"Typical!" Dacry said as she pulled the hood over her head with me copying her actions.

"Who is he?" I asked as we watched Jane slap the guy's face. Twice.

"That's Thor, of Asgard," Dacry replied as we began to walk over to the two.

I remember that name. I remember Loki telling me about Thor in my dreams when I was a child and he was just as Loki had described him. I missed Loki. he had stopped seeing me in my sleep when I turned 17 and I had no idea why. But Thor would know, I know he knows what happened to Loki.

As we closed in on the two we saw Jane slap this Thor guy. Twice.

"Hey!" I said interrupting Jane and Thors conversation, "Is that you who is controlling where the rain lands cause I would really appreciate it if you could make it stop raining please?"

"We're kind of in the middle of something Erika." Jane said, turning towards me annoyed. Darcy scuffed next to me.

"I'm pretty sure we were getting arrested," she said and I let out a small laugh. Jane turned back towards Thor before saying something about holding a thought and walking quickly back towards the police. I turned out watching Jane talk to the Police scared that they would arrest her but after hearing Darcy ask something about space my attention was taken back to Thor.

"Space is fine." he said.

"Wait, you live in space?" I asked with excitement.

"To be more accurate I live in Asgard, one of the nine realms that is in space." Thor said looking down at me.

"Asgard?" I asked silently as a smile appeared on my face.

"You act as if you know of the place I speak of" Thor said looking down at me.

"Yes," I said quietly, "when I was younger I had dreams about your brother Loki, he told be all about Asgard, and you." Thor looked at me with shock all over his face. 

"May I ask, I feel as though I have meet you before but I seem to not recall your name." Thor said, his fat returning back to its normal smile.

"Erika, Erika Foster, you saved me in New York two years ago." 

Thor smiled as he gave a small nod. 

 Suddenly a large red flash came for where the police were and I turned to see Jane being flung to the ground. Thor and I ran over to her calling her name helping her stand up as one of the policemen came toward us with cationg.

"Place your hands on your head, step back!" the police said with one of his hands reaching out to us.

"This woman is unwell" Thor said as he turned to the police man. I tried to hold onto Jane as she became slightly unstable.

"She's dangerous!" I hear the policeman shout. I turned and stared at the man and I swear he flinched and took a slight step backwards as his eyes made contact with mine.

"So am I" Thor said as he looked back at Jane and I, "hold on to me, both of you" he said and I placed Jane between Thor and myself.

"What are you doing?" Jane asked as Thor looked up to the sky and soon we were surrounded by the rainbow lights that I saw back in New York. the world around us faded quickly and images of the cosmos flew past us. We arrived in a gold circular room with windows on the walls. There was a man dressed in gold standing in the center of the room looking at Jane and I.

"We have to do that again" she said in awe as she looked around before seeing the gold man. "Hi" she said as the man made his way to face us.

"Welcome to Asgard," he said with a slight smile.
