Y/N POV
I stand staring at the bright green blob before me, thinking on how to get the perfect shape and texture
This has to be perfect! I think
Three knocks followed by a familiar Irish voice came from the door, "I'm coming in!"
In a rush I throw a tarp over the painting, hoping that it won't get messed up, and put my brush and paint down.
"Hey you!" Jack says, coming up to me and hugging me, avoiding the paint, "Whatcha workin' on?"
"Oh, nothing....." I say, as I pull down the tarp to cover the corner.
"Come on let me see!" He walks up to the painting, but I catch his arm before he can move the tarp.
"No, it's a secret, and it's wet, no touchy!!" I say, the last bit in a childish voice.
"Fine, but I can do..... this" He says taking a finger of paint and swiping it down my cheek.
"You wanna play that way huh?" I retaliate by taking my brush and swiping the neon green on his forehead, matching his hair perfectly.
We started an all out paint war, flicking, swiping, dotting, and overall, just making a huge mess. Both of us were giggling like idiots the whole time, until Jack pinned me to the floor and started tickling me.
"St- hahahaha, Stop it!! I'm ticklish, hahahahaha!!" I yell in between laughs, but he does let up for a couple of minutes.
When he finally stopped I look around at the mess we've made, "You're going to help clean, you know that, right?"
"Yup!" He said, before kissing my forehead and springing to his feet to start cleaning.
I pull myself up to lean on my elbows and watch him for just a minute before helping to clean.
