1 week later

"Y/N! I'm here" sound through your and Jessie's apartment. It was Chad. Jack was hanging out with Jessie and I at our apartment, hopefully Chad didn't get to mad. (Thanks to Pilotatthefallout 😎😉)

"Girls! Where are you!" He yelled again.
"In here!" You and Jessie yell back in unison.

He heads toward the living room to see you two sitting on a couch with Jack.
"And who is this, GIRLS!" He said aggressively, making you two flinch.

"Uh-um, this is our neighbor, Jack. Jack this is Chad, Y/N's boyfriend" Jessie responded delicately, trying to calm Chad down.

"Any reason that this green-haired dipshit is sitting next to my girlfriend?" Chad says through clenched teeth.

"Oh um babe, we were just talking abou-"

"LISTEN BITCH! If you're going to be MY girlfriend then YOU'RE not allowed to talk to ANY other guys, DO YOU UNDERSTAND?" He yells straight at you.

You stand up, legs wobbly
"W-well, may-maybe we should break up th-then" You manage to squeeze out, shaking.

(A/N: Possible Trigger Warning, Domestic Violence)

"YOU? BREAK UP WITH ME? I DON'T THINK SO, BITCH!" Chad says raising his hand and slapping you square in the face, "NOW we're broken up, but you're gonna regret this!"

He states, turning to Jack he says, "And you-" He raises his hand once more to punch Jack in the jaw, but gets stopped by Jack's hand.

"I think you should leave, CHAD" Jack warns him, practically spitting out his name.

"FINE, I'LL GO, BUT WATCH YOUR BACKS!"
He storms out of the house slamming the door behind him.

"That was intense....but at least you're rid of that jackass!" Jessie says, trying to lighten the mood.

Your legs finally crumble beneath you, and your eyes finally overflow with tears, you sit on the ground, hugging your knees and clutching your cheek where he slapped you.

Jack rushes over to you, hugging you to his chest, and following his lead, Jessie does the same.

After moving to the couch you cry and rant for hours, eventually falling asleep on Jack's shoulder and hugging Jessie, neither of them had the heart to move, so you all slept there through the the night.

Jack's POV (around midnight)

Wow, that was nuts, a perfect and beautiful and perfect person like her (him, depending), doesn't deserve this treatment. She deserves someone sweet and kind to her, someone who fits her personality perfectly. Shit, I've fallen hard. "Relax Sean, you've just met, at least become her friend first", well dating or not, I WILL protect her from HIM, at all costs.
