As I stepped into the classroom, all eyes were on me. The teacher stopped typing on his computer and smiled at me. "Well, you must be Peyton Mattingly. I'm Miss Monroe. Welcome to Biology 1. Your seat is right over there in the corner, next to Frank." She gestured to a boy sitting quietly in the back. He looked up at me, before quickly looking down. I sat in the seat next to him and smiled. "Hi. Your name is Frank?" I smiled, trying to be friendly. He looked up and nodded. "I'm not gonna bite you." I giggled. Frank smiled. "Sorry. I'm just really shy sometimes." "Don't worry, I get that way too sometimes." I smiled. "Why is the new girl talking to that emo fag?!" One of the girls yelled. The whole class erupted in laughter, Miss Monroe trying to calm the class down. "Don't listen to them, Frank. They're assholes." He nodded and we began to do our worksheet. When the lunch bell rang, I began to pick up my book bag, when someone tapped my shoulder. "Peyton, do you want to sit by me and my friends at lunch?" Frank asked, gathering his things. "I'd love to. Let's go." I smiled, and we walked to the cafeteria. We grabbed our food and headed outside. "So you like Art? You'll love Gerard. He loves art too!" "Oh, Ray introduced me to them on the bus this morning!" I said, and he nodded. "Yeah, they're really nice. Lets go before all the good food is taken." He said, and we walked to the cafeteria. When we walked outside to the steps, I saw the guys and waved. They waved back in return, but of course, not Gerard. "Hey Peyton, I see you met Frankie." Ray said, as I took a seat beside him." I nodded. As we ate, one of the guys from earlier threw something at Frankie, hitting directly in the face. Gerard, Mikey, and Ray just shook their heads. I angrily stood up. "You guys aren't going to do anything?! I mean, you act like this is a normal thing!" "Why do you think we eat outside?" Ray said. "Well, I'm going to take care of that." "Peyton, don't.." Frankie said, but I had already started walking over to their table. "Excuse me, how about you not throw things at my friends?" I asked. They all laughed as one of the cheerleaders got up from their seats and shoved me. "Well excuse me, but you're not welcome at our table, so how about you go back to your loner friends and leave us alone?" " Well. I'd really like to know who your parents were, so I can talk to them about birth control. Because there is enough bitches like you in this world already, and to be honest. We don't need anymore." I said, pushing her back before walking away. As I was walking away, I felt something being dumped on my head. Those asshole jocks had dumped their whole lunch on me. The boys looked at me, their jaws dropped to the floor. My blood boiled, and I was about to storm back over there, but  Frankie got up and took me to the nearest bathroom.
