It's been two years since father came home without mother, I am now eight, sans is six, and has no memory of mother anymore, our baby brother papyrus, is three, and is already advancedq in his speech, no quite the sharpest tool in the shed, but when he and sans are together, nothing , except me, can stop them, I have become they're mother, father is either drunk or at work, and my brothers and I are left at home, often I'm called into work with father, so I teleport my brothers in with My only friend, Hestia, and her little sister Riley, Riley is the adopted child of the king and queen, (Riley is the Chara of her universe) and Hestia came to the underground looking for her, now she's head of the royal guard, and works in training new recruits, and is a mother to all the children in the underground, especially Undyne, papyrus' best friend, I often seek out Hestia when I need advice or a motherly figure to talk to, Riley often works with father and I in the lab, along with Alphys, that brings me to now, where I stand in the lab, my coat five sizes too big on, the left sleeve rolled up, fathers holding a syringe with a glowing substance. "Now Scarlett I want you to hold still, this will hurt, but you will be very powerful afterwards." I nod my head, he injects the substance, I scream out, it hurts, I feel like every part of me is burning, I can feel me tears, but their not going down, they're going up and to the side on my left and down and to the side on my right, it feels like they're made of acid, I pant, and fight to keep consciousness, I do not want to fail father, the pain starts to subside and I look at father, he smiles, its the first time he's smiled since mother left, I try to speak but no noise leaves my jaw, "it's ok Scarlett, you've done well, I'm very proud of you." I smile weakly before passing out on the lab floor
