In a flashing moment...
Lilian's whole world was changed.
"I think our town is being invaded!"
As soon as she uttered those words, people started fleeing from their dorms and running to and fro in a frenzy. UFO looking ships were arriving, and outside of them came out a demon looking creature.
Despite living in a magical world, this was abnormal. How could such a peaceful day turn so sour?
"I think those are shadow demons! I learned about those in class!" Stephanie said and grabbed her bag. "Let's go!" Lilian urged and grabbed Stephanie's hand, racing out the door.
Lillian and Stephanie ran and ran to find the exit,but noticed the gates were closed!!!
"How will we get out now?!" asked Stephanie.
"I don't know. We might have to go over it."
"But how?!" questioned Stephanie.
"How about we fly. With someone else, not me.."
"Yeah, yeah super simple.. BUT WITH WHO?! Did you ever consider that Lillian?! We're doomed..."
"Don't say that! At least not yet!"
"But we need to get out now!! The shadow demons could take us any minute now!".
As they looked behind them, the shadow demons were teleporting innocent people to a place no one knew where...
Lilian looked around and spotted a fairy. "I have a crazy idea, but it might work!" She said and held her breath, grabbing Stephanie's hand and pulling her towards a fairy. "Wait! Can't we just use the teleporter?!" She asked and pointed towards a weird looking machine.
"Too late for that! Hey, fairy, can you give us a lift over the gate?"
"Oh, sure!" replied the fairy
The two jumped on its back, and started flying towards the gate.
"Lillian, they've got guns!"
"We're gonna make it!"
"Lilian!"
"We're almost there!"
The guns pointed...and fired.
