Newfound powers

Instantly I panicked. I would've never guessed my powers would've made me have wings!! "Oh my god!" I turned around to see Stephanie standing there. She looked as surprised as Lillian was. "What happened to me?!" Lillian asked in a frenzy.

"Calm down!" Stephanie shouted, "I studied magical creatures and their abilities! You seem to be in a goddesses' first stage...a Phoenix!"

"WHAT DO YOU MEAN?! nobody in my family has ever been goddess or God!" Lilian shouted back, "At least, not that I know of..." Lillian had shivers down her spine. She thought, HOW COME ALL OF A SUDDEN I GET MY POWERS ?! ...This puzzled her mind.

"CHILL! That's actually super cool!"
"WHAT".
"Yeah! Phoenix's turn into goddesses, which means you could be a ruler!"
Stephanie cheered.

Suddenly, Lillian began to like the idea. "Ruler...? Well, this means I don't have to worry about the authorities anymore..." She mumbled and looked outside. "Hey, have you seen this?"

"Seen what?"
"The sky..."
"What about it?"
"It's just, really dark."
"That's how it always is, silly!"
"No, I mean it looks darker... as if a huge storm was coming, or something bad."

Stephanie poked her head outside the dorm window, "Now that you mention it.. It's kinda suspicious."
Lillian went into her bag and looked at her weather schedule. It said it would be sunny...

Immediately, she ran up and started packing up some stuff. Food, clothes, blankets, anything resourceful.
"What are you doing?" asked Stephanie in curiousity
"I have a bad feeling about all this...even if it is a storm, we might have to evacuate." Lilian explained as she shoved items into her bag.

"Umm... Well, I should pack too, now that you mention that.. "
Stephanie and Lillian started packing useful items just in case.

As Stephanie finished, she looked outside once more. "The clouds are so big! I've never seen anything like this before...thanks for the heads up on packing." She giggled.
"No problem." Lillian smiled.

As soon as they were done Stephanie spoke. "Wait a minute...what's that?!" Stephanie stepped back from the window and pointed. Lilian ran up to the window and was surprised to see....
