Strong Decisions

The man was puzzled by the sudden question.

"Umm. Sure! Uh, what do you need help with?" He said
"We need help to carry my dad to Skyville."

"Skyville? That's pretty far... You sure you wanna go there?"
"Yes!" she blurted, "I mean, yes please."
"Fine."
The three of them walked to Skyville.

Setting Change: Skyville

Skyville was a busy and retro town. It had anything you could ever imagine! The main color for the town however, was blue, given by the Sky section of the name.

"This town is beautiful!" Stephanie giggled and spun around, but Lillian was more focused on finding a hospital. "There's an energy center over there," the man pointed out, "It's where people go to recharge after a battle, but it works as a hospital too."
"Got it!"

So the three raced inside the building, greeted by a girl with light pink hair and a long white dress. "Hello there!" She began, then noticed Lillian's father. "Oh dear! We'll get him fixed up right away!"

Time Skip...Afternoon

After waiting for what seemed like hours in the waiting room, the results came in. "Your father is fine, but it will take a week before he is fully healed."
"As long as he's okay, it's good with me. May I speak to him?" Lillian inquired, and the nurse nodded.

She was led to his recovery room, where she stood beside him. "I know it will take a week...stay in contact with me, okay?" Her father chuckled. Lillian nodded, "I will, for sure. But I wanted to ask you something..." Lillian sighed.

"I found out yesterday that I'm a Phoenix..." She admitted, showing off her Phoenix wings to her father, who wasn't at all surprised.

"Your mother and I were both gods and goddesses. We knew you had those genes!" He laughed. "But I must warn you...the stages of a Phoenix are tough. If anyone cuts off your wings...you will be powerless, and they can keep or sell your wings. If they chose to keep them, they will become a Phoenix themselves. When you are a Goddess, this cannot happen however. But you must be careful, there has been a decrease in Gods and goddesses because of the losses of many Phoenix's...to become a goddess, you must master all powers."

Lillian took her time to process this new information.

"I will." Lillian said "I have another question to ask you."
"What is it honey?"
"Well, they say you have to be here for a week an-." She was interrupted by her father.
"And?"

"And I've decided to go to other places. To make my journey begin. I need to travel and learn more things and to defeat the Witch of Darkness and Despair!" she shouted. Everyone stared at her. But soon, she ignored it.

"Shh! Keep your voice down!" The nurse ordered and looked away. "S-sorry, I got carried away!" She apologized and turned back towards her father.

"I'm ok with you leaving. I too always wanted to start a journey, but your sister was born and then you... So I couldn't. But, be careful out there Lillian! You know what can happen to you!"
"I know and I will keep safe. I love you dad!"
"I love you too my Honey Bee."
"Bye!" Lillian said with a hopeful outlook, running out the door. "Bye!" He called after her. "I'll visit you!"

Both of them had a sense of hope. Especially her father.

This was a new Beginning
