Chapter Seven

Ok I'm just gonna say that Chimney and Red were hunting... I think that's what they were doing... -_-

<Red POV>

I stifled a giggle as I heard Chim yelling from underneath me.

"Red! Where the hell are you?" He screamed. I was hiding in a tree, dangling from the vines. He was standing under me, completely oblivious to the fact that I was right above him. If he just looked up...

"Red!" He shouted, "Don't make me count to three!" I lost it. I started laughing like an idiot and fell from my spot, landing in a pile of jungle leaves. I looked up to the face of Chim, trying to hide a smile and look angry.

"Red..." He said angrily but then he broke and started laughing and fell to the ground. I punched his shoulder and he punched me back. {JUST CLARIFYING NO ROMANCE THIS IS BROS...}

"Well we have all of our food. Lets head back," Chim said. Then I had a thought.

"You go. I'm gonna go find Tiff and Ali," I told him. {btw the jungle is close to the desert like in the original world of her oasis}

<Tiff POV>

I sighed.

"How long has she been gone?" I wondered out loud. At least half an hour. I started tapping my foot.

"Ugh..." I grunted then got up. I needed to do something! I started to silently sing one of my favorite songs...

"When the days are old and the nights all cold..." I whisper-sang, "And the saints we see are all made of gold..." {a/n BUDDER} I continued to get louder until I was at my normal singing voice.

"When you feel my heat, look into my eyes. It's where my demons hide, it's where my demons hide... Don't get to close, it's dark inside. It's where my demons hide, it's where my demons hide..." I sang and I heard a gasp. I stopped and covered my mouth, blushing as I turned around.

I saw Red smiling.

"What...you weren't supposed to..." I trailed off.

"You're a beautiful singer, don't be embarrassed," he said and my blush became crimson.

"Uh...thanks...I...um..." I stuttered. That left us with an awkward silence. He scratched the back of his head.

"Um so... Where's Ali?" He asked. I shrugged.

"She went to go find water. She's been gone for like an hour now..." I told him and just that moment, Alison came walking up to us...well, she crawled. It wasn't because she was tired, it was just dramatic.

"Here's...your...freaking...water..." She gasped in between each word. Again. Drama.

"Thanks!" I said with a giggle and reached down, taking the canteen and sipping it. I heard Red laugh and I did with him. Ali stood up.

"What?" She asked.

"You're funny, Rainbow," Red told her. She punched him in the chest.

"Don't call me that, plumber," she said glaring him down. He put his hands up in defense.

"Plumber?" I asked.

"Yeah. You know... It's a me! Mario!" Red imitated the video game character.

"Oh...plumber..." I said and they both laughed at me.

"Hey!" I exclaimed, "I have my dumb moments!"

"Let's head back. Chim is probably freaking out," Red told us and I nodded.

"M'kay!" Ali said and skipped along without us. Red just shook his head and let out a small laugh.

"That one..." He sighed, "is a piece of work."

"Well so is Cupquake, when you get to know her," I told him and punched his shoulder playfully. We began walking, moving from desert to jungle. The three of us made our way carefully through the vines and leaves. When we could see the clearing, we saw Chim pacing in front of the entrance to the house. Ali stopped us and motioned us to be silent. Red and I stayed still as we watched her climb up some vines and crawl over above Chimney's head. Then, she lept on him. He yelled and she laughed.

"Goddammit Alison!" He shouted but she continued laughing. She was still giggling on the ground as he got up and brushed himself off. He held out his hand to her and she took it, standing up and motioning us to come out from our hiding spot. Then we all went inside to see what the guys brought home for dinner.
