Angus POV (yes I just did)
"Too early..." I groaned as someone shook me violently. "Five more minutes!" I waved my hand out lazily, attempting to hit or even just shoo the person away.
"Get your lazy ass up and let's go!" Jade screamed, and my eyes slowly blinked open. I saw that she was wearing some type of uniform, kind of like Adam's but not exactly. It had golden colored fabric underlying the padding instead of black and her hair was pulled up in a bun. She threw a uniform at me, this one a deep blue color instead of the so called "budder" shade.
"Why is mine a different color?" I asked, rubbing the sleep out of my eyes.
"There's five different ranks," she told me while placing her hands on her hips. "Lapis is the lowest, the rank you are," she pointed at my uniform. "Then iron, then diamond, emerald and finally budder," Jade held up a finger as she said each name, counting off the ranks. "Then if your a general, your rank is obsidian, but you can wear whatever the hell you want." She pouted while saying this, as if she were upset that they got to wear whatever. "But Sky wears the obsidian uniform. That's why he's the only one with a blackish colored one."
"Oh," I replied simply, too bored to respond with something more complex. I held up the uniform and blinked my eyes lazily, letting them adjust and see the outfit in front of me. "Not bad..." I muttered more to myself.
"What?" Jade questioned, looking at me with curiosity.
"What?" I questioned back, not even realizing I had said something.
"You said-" and then she made a weird mumbling noise to simulate what she had heard.
"What...oh...." I slurred trying to grasp the quite simple situation. "Just...don't worry about it..." I waved my hands around, dropping the uniform on my lap, earning a confused look from Jade.
"M'kay whatever. Get changed and meet me down in the large building with General Lox. It's the one with emerald in it." Her voice faded as she walked from my room but I still barely understood what she said. Sitting for a few moments and lazily daydreaming, I found myself almost asleep again. If it weren't for the jerk of my brain telling me to wake the fuck up then I probably would've.
Slowly, I made my way out of the warm comforts of my bed and changed into my new uniform. I strapped the padding on and buckled the safety guards, twisting and shuffling the fabric until it fit right. Quickly I ran a hand through my jet black hair, and flipping it so the red streak was visible. I then ran out the door, almost forgetting my shoes, and scanned around for the emerald building.

Short? Extremely. I'm sorry I've been gone. This chapter was introducing angus's character and if you don't know who that is he's my friend who helped me with ideas in this story. A lot. Go thank him @angushunter5 . Also if you want to know why I was gone (if you didn't get the memo) go ask him bout that because I don't want to explain it to like 80-sumthin people. He's a good frund. But anyways sorry for the short chapter ima get into writing again.
