Have a little faith

Magdelena finally stops shaking and falls asleep in Damien's arms.

"Hold her for as long as she needs" Titan instructs

"What if I have a frenzy again?How do I stop myself?Ive always been able to control myself,I don't know what's happening to me" Damien admits

"I know son but deep within I trust you'll do the right thing,I'll be back later" Titan comments

"But dad I..." Damien begins

"Have a little faith in yourself son" Titan replies,exiting the room and into the forest before Damien can reply.

Damien sighs as he watches her sleeping in his arms.Damien's eyes snapped to look at the fire as the wood cracked underneath the vibrant orange and red.Figures and people seemed to dance in the fire across the logs.

Damien couldn't believe what he say in front of his eyes.He rubbed his eyes making sure he isn't just seeing things.The dancing people clear,leaving two people walking towards eachother,one male and female.The two people touch  hands with eachother and a warm feeling hits his unbeating heart.The two people dance in the fire along the logs,the girl has long bright blonde hair and the man has slight reddy,brown hair.

A lump builds in his throats and he looks down at Magdelena,soon realise the people dancing in the fire are him and her.

Wind whistles down the chimney and he focuses on the fire again.The fire flickers and a face with dark eyes appears in the fire.Damien watches carefully as the face bears fangs.Damien blinks a couple of times as the fire roars between the fangs of the face.He gulps when he recognises the face.

"Morgan" He huffs

The fire roars uncontrollably before the face fades another harsh whistle from the wind down the chimney and the fire sizzles out,leaving just ash and unburnt logs on the fire.

Magdelana begins to shiver again and mumbles in her sleep.The cold isn't a problem for Damien,his body is as cold as ice.He hoists Magdelena up and carries her bridal style sup the stairs,tucking her into his bed.

His jaw clenches as he takes one last look at her sleeping peacefully before heading downstairs.He takes a blood bag out of the fridge and tares the plastic top open with his teeth.He sighs in relief as the cold liquid touches his tongue and runs down his throat.

Damien can hear crying in his head,he goes upstairs to check on Willow.Lightly knocking on her door.Moments later she opens the door,wiping her red blotchy eyes with the back of her hand.

"Is he gone?" She asks,referring to Titan

"Yeah he's gone" Damien replies pulling Willow in for a hug

"Is Magdelana okay?" She questions

"Yeah she's fine,she's just asleep" He says

"Good,this must be so traumatic for her" She comments,pulling out of the hug and taking a seat on the bed,Damien shortly following her.He pulls her in for a hug again as Willow rests her head on his just.

"Where's Hugo?" He asks

"Oh he's just gone to the hospital to collect some blood bags and stock up for the winter" She replies

"Magdelanas a witch isn't she" Willow mentions and Damien's eyes widen

Silence fills the room for a moment.

"Yeah....yeah she is" He sighs

Her eyes flash to look at Damien

"Damien you know how dad feels about witches" She begins

"No witches in this house,I mean it" She mimics Titans mannerisms and voice.

"I know Willow,I know" He huffs

"I found this in Magdelenas coat" She announces pulling out the box with snakes guarding the lock.

"You shouldn't be touching that,you don't know what's in there" Damien mentions

"You have to return it back to her in the morning" He tells his sister

"Will do" She replies placing the box back in her bottom draw

The door slams downstairs

"I'll be back in a minute,stay there" He instructs Willow

Damien races down the stairs to check where the noise is coming from.

"Damien it's me,we need to talk" Titans deep voice echoes through the house

"I know father I...." Damien begins

"Let's talk this through it the living room" Titan replies placing a hand on Damien's shoulder and guiding him in the living room.
