My Heart Over My Head

CHAPTER TEN

-Dylan's POV-

They've got them - I got the call a while ago from Ray that was supposed to be watching them basically let them be kidnapped! I pull up the tracker for Sienna's gun up on my computer It showed me the location but as far as I know it could have been dumped but it was worth checking out. I don't know if it will find her but I can only check it out.
Mick, Tomo, Kale and I climb in the car and organize for more guys to meet us there. We needed to hurry up I don't want something to happen before we got there. I drove to the location it was a huge abandoned warehouse and they where everywhere - scorpions that is.
"What's the plan?" Mick asked
"To get our girls back." I reply "and I don't give a fuck what we have to do to accomplish that!"

We get out of the car and just start shooting one guy after another is gone. We make our way further into the building shooting I don't care who dies right now we need to find them. One person drops after another and we get further and further in. I have to say knowing I'm killing these bastards to find Sienna gives me a thrill.
"Oi Dyl, can you hear that?"
I listen for a minute and I can hear a girl screaming and know instantly it's Sienna. Kale and I decide to head up that way still shooting - then I see her up ahead - she has a blindfold on and one of the bastards has a gun to her head she looks terrified, Ella is nowhere in sight.
"Dylan, Dylan, Dylan." the man mocks "You finally showed up I wanted you to watch while I kill her."
"Fuck you." I hiss
"Dylan." Sienna whimpers
I want to just yell back to her but I can't - I can't show emotion - that's what he wants.
"Let her go."
"Let me think about that." he looks up for a moment "No" and before I can react he shoots her dead in the foot.
"DYLANNNNNN" she screams in pain
I spot Mick up ahead behind them both thank fuck we split up. I nod and he aims and fires immediately the guy falls down and Sienna is free. I run to her.
"I'm here" I say scooping her into my arms.
"Where's Ella?" Kale asks
"We where in a little room before I left I think she's still there."
Mick runs over.
"Go help your brother I'll get her out of here." he says scooping Sienna into his arms.
"I love you" I tell her "I'll see you in a second."
"I love you too" she replies

Mick deals with Sienna and I go and help Kale find Ella - we look everywhere swinging one door after another. Finally we find her laying on the floor in one of the rooms.
"ELLA!!" Shouts Kale
Ella is unconscious Kale scoops her up and we all get out of there. When we get back to the car Mick is wrapping Sienna's foot he'd removed the bullets and stitched it up - we didn't always need Ryan - Mick was a medic for the army a long time ago.
"Did you find her?" Si asks
"Yep she's in another car."
Kale puts Ella in another car with him to take her to Ryan and I sat in the back with Sienna while Mick drove. She snuggled in so so hard into me and continued to sob.
"I thought I was going to die."
"I will always find you" I tell her holding her close.
Instead of going straight back to the hotel we go to dads to get changed and I knew Kale was there with Ella having Ryan look after her. I pick Sienna up once we arrive at dads and take her in. We walk in and dad ushers us upstairs to shower and get cleaned up once we are done we go in to check on Ella and she's still unconscious.
"Whats wrong with her Sienna asks?"
"I'm not quite sure." Ryan says "her obs are fine - I can't work out why she's not waking up and I've been flushing her system but nothings working."

As the hours tick by Ella still doesn't wake up and Ryan has no answers it would be different if her obs weren't normal but they are and they continue to be.
"We should get you home to bed." I tell Sienna
"But I don't want to leave Ella."
"Don't be silly Dylan stay here." Brian says
"Are you sure?"
"Of course - you can both stay in your old room."
"Okay" I reply "Thanks Dad."
"It's okay son."
I carry Sienna up to my old room and place her on the bed and place her on my old bed I don't know when the last time I slept in this room was but it made me feel like I was home. I missed this place - it was a good household until Lilly left but after she went it turned into the house of hell. I lay down next to her.
"Dylan?"
"Yes beautiful?"
"How did you find us?"
"I'd put a tracking device into your gun."
"I'm glad" she smiles
"Do you need a shower?"
"Yeah." she replies
"I'll be back in a minute then."
I go and get a plastic bag to cover her foot and then I go into Lilly's room and grab some clothes. I then head back in to check up on Ella, Ryan's happy because it looks like she's slowly coming around. I also grab some painkillers off him to give to Sienna. I take Sienna in the bathroom to help her shower and have one myself.

Laying there that night I was glad because I had Sienna back again - yes she was in pain and had been injured but she was alive and that's all that matters. I toss and turn and can't sleep so I go down to see dad who is drinking a scotch in the lounge.
"How are they?"
"Ella is coming around and Sienna is okay - she's asleep."
"Why where they out without at least one of you?"
"Ray was following them but was too far behind - Sienna was armed but 'd put a tracking device in it - so even though she didn't use it we could find them."
"Whats next?"
"I don't know." I say "they'll strike back but it could be any where any time."
"Well you don't let those girls out of your sight again."
"Never."

I go to bed after having a couple of scotches with dad and start to think about things more - how things can change and how I cared about Sienna more than anything in the world. I could have lost her tonight I nearly did - if it wasn't for Mick I probably would of. I watch her while she sleeps - she is beautiful even though she has changed she's as beautiful as ever. I stoke her hair out of her face,
"I love you." she mutters
"I love you too."
From here on out I will do every single thing possible to keep her safe - I don't care who I have to kill or what I have to do she will be kept safe - and that is a promise. I toss and turn all night - I hardly sleep a wink. I realize its 6am so I go downstairs and get coffee - Ryan and dad are in there too.
"How's Ella?" I ask Ryan
"Yeah she is conscious now she's asleep with Kale now but i want to keep an eye on her I don't know what the hell they gave her but its done something crazy to her. She remembers nothing she knows who everyone is but everything that happened yesterday is gone. They have basically erased her recent memory."
"Fuck" I reply
"Yep they've done a number on her." he sighs "For some reason they didn't do anything like that to Sienna."
"They wanted me to watch her suffer - if she was in the state Ella's in they wouldn't have been able to make her suffer."
"But it makes me wonder why they bothered."
"I don't know they are sadistic fucks."

I have coffee with my dad and Ryan not long after Kale walks down.
"How is she?" asks Ryan
"Confused as fuck." Kale says "What happened to her?"
"I don't know."
"Does Sienna?" Kale says turning to me.
"I asked her and she said she was still awake when they grabbed her."
Trying to work out what happened feels near impossible the point is she is now awake and at least it's only yesterday that she's forgotten. I go back upstairs and climb back into my old bed - I look around my room and it makes me feel like a teenager again - it feels... well.... different. At least this time I have the love of my life next to me.. Did I just say that? I guess it's true. It makes me laugh looking at the music posters that scatter my wall I guess you could call it typical for the life I live... Tupac, Eminem, Hilltop hoods - all the good stuff. The stupid pictures of me and the boys getting pissed are blu tacked all over my closet doors and the black paint just shows my interests.. Dark shit...! I get out of bed and walk over to my closet I reach up the top and grab out a box that is up there I sit on the bed and open it. Its been a long time since I'd even thought to look through it. The first thing I pull out is my first hand gun - something that I'd put away the last time I'd opened this box. Next I pull out a little note book i open it up and laugh it was all my "poetry" aka my wanna be rap songs. Next I pull out a photo from when I was little it was Kale and Lilly's 3rd birthday party it was a photo of me, Kale and Lilly with one of her little friends. Hang on a second? Is that Sienna? I knew Lilly had known her but I never realized I'd met her. Her face hasn't changed much she's still beautiful. I go through the box one item after another and relive my past - it made me realize this had always been my life - then I found what I was looking for I grab it out and stuff it in the pocket of the pants I'm wearing today.

When Sienna wakes I show her the photo - she laughs at it.
"I cannot believe we've met before!" she laughs "This was our very first photo together! Can we take it back to the apartment?"
"Sure, it was our first photo pretty important" I tease
"Shut up" she says punching me in the arm.
She goes off to see Ella limping but okay - the pain killers are working a treat and I have a shower and go to get dressed - I look at where I was shot and realized I needed to get that covered up soon - that was one thing I hated - visible scars. Si comes in and I'm standing in the mirror wearing nothing but a towel.
"Hey sexy." she smiles and comes up and kisses me - lets just say a little while later we are both back in the shower to get ready to get dressed and go because Ryan has given Ella the all clear. We get the girls in the car & head back to the hotel. Walking into our apartment I was glad to be home - I liked staying in my old room but it wasn't home.
"Is that our shopping from yesterday?" Si asks pointing to the pile of bags laying on the floor.
"We went shopping yesterday?" Ella asks
"Yeah before you lost your memory." Sienna says with a 'what the fuck do I say?' look on her face.
"Yeah it is." I say replying to her original question.
Si tries to pick the bags up but is unbalanced by her foot and nearly falls over. I take her bags over to the lounge and put them down for her. She limps over and starts going through the bag.
"What did you buy?" I ask her
"House stuff" she says emptying the bags and showing me. She'd bought all sorts new towels (I wash just using the hotel ones), new sheets (again the ones i use are from the hotel), frames and so on. She asks for the photo of us all at lily and Kale's birthday and slips it into a frame.

Sienna was healing but Ella still couldn't remember that day - just that one day, Ryan had done research but couldn't figure it out at all. It was two weeks later and things had been rather calm again. Sienna had proceeded to make the apartment more homely - she'd replaced lots and added more personal items. I think since the kidnapping she'd spent most days doing something to the apartment but I'm pretty sure she was using it to try and put everything else out of her mind. I was surprised when she put the birthday photo up in the lounge room that Kale actually smiled and didn't freak out. Usually anything about Lilly makes him mad but this time it seems to be different. I'd love to find her one day but everyone's tried and nobody has managed to find her. I'm glad Sienna has been doing up the apartment it makes it feel much more at home now.

Still the weeks tick by and things feel like they have calmed down a lot - no attacks - no nothing. I know we shouldn't get our hopes up, they would be back we were sure of that. The scorpions where relentless and something was going to happen it was just a matter of time. Its hard not to enjoy the peace and quite - really hard.
"Do you think it's to early to get the scar on my foot covered?" Sienna asks me
"No its been a couple of months it should be fine."
"I wanna get it done."
"That we can do." I smile "Do you know what you want?"
"I think so"
I take Sienna to see my tattoo guy and she decides to get some scripture over it but won't tell me what it is. She goes inside with Ella and I wait for her and chat to some of the boys.
"Do you need anything done?" Alex asks Alex one of the two guys I usually go and see.
"Yeah actually I do."
"Come on then." he says and we go into another area.
Alex tattoos a purple star over my abdomen wound with an S in the middle. Once his finished we go back out and the girls still aren't done. I drink a bourbon with Alex and continue to wait. A little bit later Sienna comes out - I look down at her foot and ever though it was covered you could tell it looked amazing running down her foot it says 'My Heart Over My Head with butterflies surrounding it - its hard to explain but its beautiful just like her. We head home and she lifts up her shirt - under her boobs is a heart that that has a D in it.
"Well i've got something to show you." I smirk lifting up my shirt and showing her my new star.
"What the fuck." she laughs "How to hell did we do that?"
"I don't know but I love it." I say leaning down and kissing her.
