Oakland's Baddest: The Final Chapter

~1 Year Later~

I'm 16 and officially on my own.

I moved out and that was that. As far as Marco, I haven't seen him since that night he left. Mama fell into a deep depression when she lost her second son. As time passed she started to get better and was slowly weaned off her antidepressants. She even moved out of the old apartment.

I left that hood. There were too many memories of all the people I had lost and it was just eating me alive.

Arlie moved into that house he had eyes for and I moved just a block away from him. The sad part was we were on the other side of town. That meant a new school and I wasn't looking forward to that. We have about 6 more weeks left till summer was over.

I was chilling at my house smoking a lil sum, waiting for Lexis to come over. He said he wanted to find a house around here since Arlie, J, And I were over here. Javier was still in the old hood and Marcus was still back there too.

"Varo, where you at?" I heard Lexis say as he walked in

"Right here dumbass" I said as I blew out the smoke

"Lets go. I wanna find a house today so I can already move my shit in." I put out the blunt and got up, grabbed my hat and out the door we went.

"We're walking and there are houses all over the place for sale or some shit."

"I don't care. I just want a big ass house that has a huge drive way for the cars."

"aye you still with what's her face-"

"Leah? Nah we broke up. She was hella clingy. I was at a party last week and Tanya was there. Crazy ass chick." He laughed

"Longest relationship you were in was with Leah. I thought she the one for you and Tanya huh? She gave me head a few nights ago. I called her ass up and she came over like she didn't have a damn thing to do." When I discovered the beauty of strip clubs and hoes... Shit really got turnt up.

"Leah? Hell no. I'd never marry her. She's got issues, she was just fine and havin her by my side made me look better. I have a pair of True's that I'd propose to before ever proposing to Leah." Lexis has an addiction to True Religion jeans. I've never seen a nigga love his True's more than himself.

"Damn Lexis, aye look at that house. If you moved there we'd be only like 10 minutes away from each other." This house was beast as shit. I think he should drop the stacks and get it.

~45 Minutes Later~

"Nigga we basically neighbors now" I laughed as I dapped him

"I can be officially moved in within the next 4 weeks." He smiled as he put his new house key on the key chain with his other keys. "Feels good to finally be out of that house. Its been lonely there for the past 4 years since they moved." His parents and Chewy moved 4 years ago to the East Coast and he's been living in that house on his own. His parents had some kind of agreement with Lexis' Uncle so he could stay in that house and not worry about payments. I would have stayed in that house if all my shit was paid for.

"Lets go to Arlie's and see what's poppin over there. His house actually got a purpose. Have you seen some of the females he picks up from living right off the intersection? Shit." Arlie lives right off the main intersection. The females he gets are just too fine for words. Arlie got game cause he's fuckin Arlie.

"I heard Heather bitched at him because of that one female she walked in on Arlie sleeping with on the couch."

"Oh shit! She did?! What did Arlie do?" Heather and Arlie are- I don't even know anymore.
