Chapter 10 - Match Made in Heaven

Erza's POV

I open my eyes. It's dark. But, I feel I'm in a safe place. Kinurap-kurap ko ang mga mata ko. Yeah, hindi ako nananaginip. Bumangon ako only to find out that-

" My room? " the words escaped my mouth almost unaudible to myself. Then I saw Cherry sleeping on the couch in the corner of my room.

I glanced at the digital clock na nakapatong sa bedside table ko, 12:15. My stomach growled. Wala pa nga pala akong kinakain na kahit ano simula nung umaga. I silently get off the bed. I get my spare blanket and covered Cherry with it. Marahan akong lumabas ng kwarto. Dumiretso ako sa kusina. I open the fridge and saw a bowl of-

" Sweet and sour fish fillet? " mahina pero gulat na gulat kong sabi. Inilabas ko yung bowl at ipinasok sa microwave. Ininit ko din yung kanin pati na rin yung-

" Mushroom soup? " napailing ako pero inopen ko pa din yung stove para maiinit yun.

Seriously? Si Cherry ba ang may gawa ng mga ito? Pero hindi eh, fried egg nga nasusunog nya pa tapos 'eto? Agh! I don't know what to think!

After 10 minutes, I eat.

" Whoa, ang sarap naman. Now I'm sure na hindi nga si Che-che ang nagluto, pero sino? "

Maya-maya pa,

" Thanks for the food! Ang sarap talaga, ang dami kong nakaen ah. "

I wash the dishes at pagkatapos ay bumalik sa kwarto ko. Mahimbing pa rin na natutulog si Cherry sa couch. I turn on the lampshade beside my bed, baka kasi magising si Cherry pag yung ilaw sa room yung binuksan ko. I search my closet for my stuffs and headed sa bath room.

I take off my clothes and turn on the shower, I tested the water temperature, when I think it's good, I step under the water. I bowed my head and closed my eyes. Trying to remember what the hell happened to me sa school. As the pictures run through my head, I can feel the stinging pain on my wrist.

I heaved a deep sigh. I slowly open my eyes and lifted my right hand levelled to my chest. Close enough to see the tiny wounds and purple bruises around it. I sighed again, controlling my emotions. They've tied me? Oh God.

I'm certain with some things. First, it was Mitch's group who did this. Second, Cherry obviously came and rescued me, I just don't know how, nakipag-away na naman sya? Tss, kasalanan ko 'to. Hindi sya mapapaaway kung hindi dahil sa akin. Third, Genesis' must be mad at me. Damn.

Sa kabila ng lahat ng mga nangyari sa akin, bakit mas bumigat ang pakiramdam ko ng maisip kong galit na sya sa akin? Masyado ko bang iniisip kung ano ang maaari sana naming napag usapan kung nakarating ako sa rooftop? Goodness grace.

I'd started to feel water in my eyes.

Tears.

Napahawak ako sa tiled wall ng bathroom. I breath trying to composed myself. I can't believe I'm feeling this way. Sa dami ng nangyare sakin, dapat magalit na ako sa kanya! Sya ang dahilan kung bakit ako ginaganito at kung bakit ako nagkakaganito! Agh! Did I already fallen for him that deep?

I tried not to think of what I'm feeling for him. That won't helped. Masasaktan lang lalo ako. I'm not made for him, I know. And at that thought, another tear escaped my eye.

I heaved a sigh and do what I have to do. Nakaramdam ako lalo ng hapdi sa wrists ko ng madampian ito ng sabon. At natigilan ako bigla.

" Where's my bracelet? "

Sh*t! I remember I heard something snap before I lose my consciousness. That must be it! Cursed them. That was Cherry's first gift to me. And I value that so much.
