Dear Mr. Lahey

There is only a small chance you remember me, because it has been 4 years. Time flies, but everyday I'm missing you more and more. You were and always will be my best friend, the best friend I've ever had.
I've heard loads of good stories about you, the others have told me. You've started your own company, haven't you? And you're engaged with a beautiful girl, Scott has told me a lot about her and she sounds like an amazing girl. You're so lucky to find someone that you want to spend your life with, it doesn't happen a lot. I'm happy for you and I'm so proud of how much you've accomplished. This isn't the point of the letter and I'm only wasting more and more time. I think it's time to let you know, because you deserve to know the truth.
I'm sorry if I bother you with this letter, but it's important. It's because I need you Isaac, I need you as my best friend. I need you here by my side, even if it's for only one day or even one hour. It would be enough. I thought I could do this alone, but I can't.
I'm sick, the doctors thought I would make it and that I would be okay, but I won't. The medication doesn't work. They told me that I don't have a lot of time left.. I'm dying Isaac. It might be a lot to ask, but I just have one wish, I wish you would come and visit me, just like you always promised. I want to see you one last time, I want to hold your hand for one last time and I just want to see you again and then I can leave peacefully. Stiles, Scott and Lydia have visited me already, but I forced them to keep it a secret from you. I had to tell you it myself. Please don't get mad at them, they just wanted me to be happy and I was happy with that choice until now.

I want you to know that it's okay if you don't visit me, it won't be any different. I'll never force you and I want you to know I love you. I never stopped loving you.
