Chapter 24 "you and me"

Two months later

"I want to drop the charges dad!"

"Fuck no are you stupid!", my dad hisses.

The car accident fight is still going on both lawyers are not backing down for a settlement.

I never agreed to pressing charges against Alejandro. However since I'm a minor my dad calls all of the shots without even consulting me about any of them.

I'm not happy with Alejandro for drunk driving and not listening to me after I told him to stop the car, but I know he made a mistake he never meant to hurt me on purpose. Humans make mistakes.

"Dad everyone makes mistakes.. he didn't mean to hurt me purposely.. be grateful I'm alive and healthy", I huff.

"You were in a coma for two months!", he grits his teeth.

"Ben stop yelling at our daughter!", my mom chirps.

"Which thanks to god I woke up from!"

"What if you never did or worse huh?!", my dad scoffs.

"I'm here dad! Why even think about those stupid things!", I scold feeling frustrated.

"Ben I dislike Alejandro for what he caused to our daughter, but this is her decision not yours!", my mom mutters intervening.

"I call the shots around here!", he scolds.

"Dad please if you even love me drop the charges I'm so tired of being back and forth in courts that constantly remind me of what happened to me.. I want to move on from that", my voice cracks.

My dad intently peers at me and takes in a deep breath letting it out loudly.

"Fine, but he's not allowed to ever come near you ever you hear me!", he sternly says.

"Trust me dad I don't want him near me either", I Blankly say giving my dad a hug.

"I can't believe you", Jason grumbles unhappy with how I made my dad drop the charges against Alejandro.

"I already explained myself to you Jason", I roll my eyes.

"Did you like him a lot or what?"

"Jason", I scoff.

"I'm sorry that was out of line it's just I hate him so much!"

"I understand babe, but let's not live with that grudge in our hearts.. life is to beautiful to let poison into our hearts.. I'm alive and healthy here with you loving you each day", I lovingly say cuffing his cheek.

"Your such an angel Aleysa", Jason leans forward resting his forehead on mine.

"I'm no angel Jason I was just taught by my mother to always forgive others just like how you would want others to forgive you"

"You and your mom are so much alike", Jason smiles locking his gorgeous light brown hazel eyes with mine.

"I love you now let's be happy", I suggest tickling him on his stomach making him chuckle.

Jason grabs my thighs lifting me up placing me on my desk.

"I'm wearing a dress Jason", I chuckle glancing at the door hoping no one barges in.

"It's just you and me", he whispers pecking my lips.

I can feel my body heating up craving him. Jason leans forward kissing my lips. Our lips moving in sync together so passionately.

I feel Jason's hand on my right thigh slowly sliding up seductively and I put my hand on his supposedly trying to stop him, but I didn't I let him.

"Aleysa!", I hear Jacky calling my name out loud from outside hearing her heel's tap on the wooden floor.

Jason pulls away quickly taking a seat on the chair as I quickly get off of the desk pulling my dress down.

Jacky barges through the door glancing at me and Jason.

"Yes?", I say pretending to hand Jason a paper.

Jacky looks at the paper then me before saying, "why are you handing Jason a blank paper?".

I look at the paper and indeed it was white absolutely nothing on it. Jason is fighting back his laughter looking down on the white blank paper.

My cheeks redden from embarrassment and if I could disappear right now. This moment is perfect for that to happen.

"Busted!", Jacky winks at Jason and I stepping out chuckling like a hyena.

"Good one brat", Jason snorts.

I crumble the paper into a ball throwing it at him which he dodges. However I busted out in laughter as well.

"Get back to work McCann"
