1 year later"Are you sure about this?" Kanan questioned.
The Ghost Crew had been given a mission to seek out and rescue a teenage male from the empires hold. Kanan had been worried about the idea of this for a while. They hadn't done something pretty big like this before. Yes, they had done a lot of dangerous missions, but for some reason Kanan was a lot more weary about this op. Rescuing someone from the empires ship, someone who was heavily guarded did worry him a tad but that wasn't the only reason. He had this nagging feeling that something horrible was bound to happen.
"Yes, I am sure about this Kanan. Why?" Hera queried.
"I just have this feeling in the back of my head that something is going to go wrong. I want everyone to watch out for that, that's all." Kanan responded.
"Okay, then before we leave for the op, tell everyone to be on the look out for anything dangerous. We're almost at the empires ship."
Kanan nodded in reply and looked out towards the deep, black space. They were approaching the enemy target, and everyone had started getting ready. Kanan just hoped that everything would go as planned. Get in, get the prisoner and get out. Kana chuckled quietly to himself, he wished it was that easy. After a few minutes, Sabine, Zeb and Chopper arrived in the cockpit.
"Alright, we're ready to go. Did you change the plan yet, Kanan?" Sabine joked.
Kanan rolled his eyes and smiled, "No, I did not, Sabine."
"Really? Are you sure?"
Kanan chuckled, "Ha ha, funny. Don't forget to watch your back just in case. I have a bad feeling about this op."
They both nodded sharply in reply. Kanan got up as Hera got closer to the imperial ship, to get to the phantom.
"Alright guys, let's go." Kanan said in a serious tone.
Zeb cracked his knuckles and smirked as they got in the phantom to secretly dock on to the imperial ship. The prisoner was supposedly on this exact ship, and all they had was his age, cell number and a warning for something they were not told of. They all just suspected that it was a warning for tight guarding of the prisoners cell or something. But Kanan was a bit more worried than the rest of them because of that warning. They weren't told what it was, why?
Kanan, Sabine and Zeb dock on to the ship unnoticed, and began to run to the prison cells. Hera had caused a distraction so they could get in quietly, so the three of them had to hurry up and get the prisoner out as quick as possible.
"Alright. Sabine, check for his prison cell. We need to do this quick before too many stormtroopers show up." The Jedi spoke quickly.
Sabine hummed a 'yes' in response. She typed in a few things to get to the cell number and hurriedly found which floor it was on.
"Kanan, it's cell number 305 on the first floor we're on now. We have to get there quick, I think the empire knows we're here by now." Sabine said anxiously.
"Okay, let's go!" Kanan yelled.
They all nodded sharply and ran to the prisoners cell room. Kanan suddenly sensed the presences of multiple people. Stormtroopers. The others behind him heard the stomping of pounding footsteps on the ground and began to run faster and finally made it to the correct cell.
"This is it, right?" Zeb queried.
"Yep." Kanan sharply replied.
Kanan nodded at Sabine to hack into the cell door, and did as she was told. The door opened and they looked to see a male in his teens, with raven coloured hair cut military style. The teen looked up in their direction and Kanan immediately knew who it was.
"Ezra?" The Jedi asked, shocked.
All he got in return was a glare.
"My name is Project 909, and I will destroy you."
