"Aubree, are you going to get that?" Hunter interrupts my thoughts. I feel my phone buzz in my pocket.

"Oh um, yeah" I manage to squirm out of my mouth. I grab my phone from my pocket to see who's calling me, it's Sean.

I see hunter's expression change, "Go on, he is your boyfriend."

I can't tell if he's sad, sarcastic or what.

"Okay, I'll be right back" I stand up and start walking a few inches away from Hunter.

"Hello?" I ask while answering the call.

"Aubree? Where are you?" Sean asks frantically. "I'm at Hunter's house"

"Hunter? The kid who you swapped phones with? Why are you at his house?" His voice shifts from frantic to slightly angry.

Sean gets jealous really easily when I talk to other guys, but normally I don't so he probably doesn't know how to act.

"He invited me over, chill Sean, nothing is happening." I chuckle.

"Yeah, okay, I trust you. But I better get going, I just wanted to call and check in, love you" he says then hangs up the call.

I scoff, "Well love you too."

Sighing, I turn and start walking back to hunter. He smiles as I approach him.

"Everything okay?" He asks. "Yeah" I smile. But is everything okay?

"Okay, well then we better get going."

"Yeah, I think I'm going to walk" I laugh. Hunter chuckles, "I'll walk with you."

We leave the boards in the yard of Hunters house and begin to walk.

"So, where exactly are we going?" I ask. "You know, I'm not really sure, the mall?" He suggests.

"Alright, sounds good with me." I smile.

"I'm gonna call Blake to see if he wants to come" he says.

I nod my head. Blake is the one I talked to on Hunters phone, the one who showed me how I could get my phone back.

"Yo bro, Bree and I are going to the mall, you coming?" I hear him speak into the phone.

"Alright cool, see you then" he says then hangs up. "Is he gonna come?" I ask.

"Yeah, we'll meet up at the food court."

"Alright then, RACE YOU THERE" I yell and then start running towards the mall.

"HEY NO FAIR!" I hear Hunters faint voice call.

I start laughing when I reach the door of the mall and hunter is still behind.

"You cheater" he says when he reaches me, catching his breath.

"No, I'm just faster than you" I tease. "You wanna bet?" He smirks.

"No thanks, I'll think I'll leave it here, because I won" I stick my tongue out at him and he laughs.

He forces a smile before saying, "Come on, Blake's inside." He then opens the mall door for me. "Such a gentleman" I say while walking through the door.

Hunter follows behind. We enter the food court and the smell of pizza fills my senses.

"Look, there they are" hunter says.

They? I thought Blake was one person. I look to where hunter is pointing and see a tall boy standing beside a girl who's mildly shorter than him.

The two approach hunter and I. "Hey bro" the boy, who I'm assuming is Blake, says.

He then looks at me, "So you must be Aubree. I'm Blake" he smiles. "Nice to meet you officially" I laugh.

"I'm Ariel" the girl chimes in. "Nice to meet you, I'm glad I'm not the only girl anymore" I sigh in relief.

"Me too, boys are annoying" she laughs. "HEY! But not me right?" Blake puts one hand over his heart.

"Yeah sure" she giggles and smiles at him.

They must be together. "So, are you two like dating?" Ariel asks me.

"Um, no, just friends. I actually have a boyfriend" I blurt before hunter can say anything.

"Oh well that's to bad because I totally ship you guys" she says.

I can feel a rush of red grow into my cheeks. We've only just met and this girl is shipping me with people already.

I see Hunter mouth something to Blake but I can't make it out.

Whatever it was, Blake glares at me and then back to Hunter to say something else.

"So, how's about we get some grub and Aubree you can tell us about yourself." Blake mentions.

I shrug, "Okay." Then follow the crowd to get some food.

"Ooo how about Chinese food?" Hunter suggests. The thought of it makes me sick to my stomach, "Hunter, here's one more thing about myself, I absolutely hate Chinese food."

The three gasp at me, "What? You don't like Chinese?" Blake asks. "Nope, it makes me sick" I reply.

"Well Aubree you are full of surprises aren't you?" Hunter smirks while laughing. "Me and you can go get pizza and Blake and Ariel can stay here to get Chinese, that sound good?" He continues.

My insides feel all bubbly when he says that.

"Sounds great" I say before following hunter over to the pizza place.

A lady emerges from the back and smiles at us, "What can I get for you today?"

Hunter nudges my shoulder, hinting for me to order. "Can I get a small pepperoni pizza with extra pepperoni?" I ask her. She kindly smiles and nods her head.

"And for you?" She asks towards Hunter. "Just a small cheese pizza, please." he replies.

"Alright I'll be right back with your food" she says then disappears.

"So-" I begin to say something but am rudely interrupted by a girl walking up to us, "HUNTER ROWLAND?!" She almost screams.

Hunter glances at me and I shrug my shoulders. I'm sure he gets this all of the time, considering.

"Yep, that's me. What's your name beautiful?" He smiles a cheesy smile.

"May" she replies with a really giddy smile on her face.

"Could I get a picture with you?" She asks. Hunter nods his head, "Sure"

The girl pulls out her phone and snaps a selfie with him. "Thanks so much! I love you!" She screeches.

"Love you too" hunter smiles and gives the girl one last hug.

But before she walks away she turns to me a mouths, "Back off", then smiles and turns away.

What was that all about? "Back off?" Really? Am I supposed to feel threatened by that? No.

I laugh at her attempt to make me feel scared. "What's so funny?" Hunter asks.

"Oh nothing, look here that lady comes with our food" I say. Hunters face screams confusion but I just smile and laugh at him.

This day, is gonna be great. I can feel it.
