What's Going On?

Aphmau's POV

Why was Aaron sitting so far away? He was sitting on the other side of the couch, while normally he was right next to me. He hadn't looked at me once. Not this whole time. What's wrong with him? Suddenly, Celestia bursts through the door. How she got through a closed, locked door, I will never know. I do know that she jumped on the couch. She used her hind legs, her WEAK hind legs, to push me off the couch. She then hopped on Aaron's lap and settled down. Aaron looked down at her.

"Aph?"

"Yeah?"

"I think we should break up."

All color drained from my face. My heart stopped.

"W-what?"

"You heard me. I don't love you anymore. I never really did."

At this, my heart shattered. I fell to my knees.

"Now. Out of my house."

I nodded weakly. Shakily, I stood up and looked at Celestia.

"C'mon girl..."

Celestia growled at me before jumping at me, teeth bared. I managed to jump out of the way in time. She went back to Aaron.

"Yeeaah... Celestia wants to stay with me."

Once again, I nodded. I staggered out the door and to my house. I opened the door. Katelyn looked at me?

"What's wrong?"

"A-Aaron dumped me..."

She smirked.

"Good. You don't deserve a boyfriend. Or friends for that matter. Speaking of which, Kawaii~Chan and  I are moving out. Bye."

They stood up, revealing suitcases. The walked out. No goodbye... no good luck... they just left. My heart shattered even more. I went to the guys house. Surely they wouldn't shun me. I knocked on the door. It opened to reveal all 4 of the boys staring at me.

"Hey guys. Can I hang out with you guys? Everyone el-"

"Ew. Go away. We don't want to hang out with you." Garroth scoffed. I looked at Travis.

"Surely you, the lady lover, won't shun me?"

He shook his head.

"Sorry. No one, not even me, would ever want to even talk to a girl like you. Oh. Cadenza and Lucinda hate you too. Don't try talking to them."

I felt a cool breeze as they slammed the door on my face. I raced to the black and gray house that belonged to my best friend. He, of all people, wouldn't hate me. Zane didn't even open the door. He looked out the window and held up a piece of paper saying,

GO AWAY. NO ONE LIKES YOU, WORTHLESS GIRL.

The tears that I had been so desperately trying to hold back started to flow. Everyone hates me. No one likes me. I was crying, crying...

Falling.

I was falling.

I was falling into a big pit of inky black. There was no end. I was falling, breaking inside. I flailed my arms and legs, struggling to find something to hang on to. Alas, there was nothing. I was falling, falling, falling...

I was awake in Aaron's bed.

I looked at my side. Aaron was there. Celestia was on the foot of his bed. I had slept over. It was a dream. My friends still liked me. Celestia still liked me. Aaron still loved me. I heard him move.

"Aph?" He said in his tired, raspy voice.

"Y-yeah?"

"Are you okay? I felt you tossing and turning in your sleep. I was worried."

"Y-yeah... I'm fine."

I stayed silent for a few seconds.

"Aaron... do you love me?"

That woke him up. He sat up straight and cupped my cheek in his hand. I stared into his dark, emotion filled eyes. He sighed and closed his eyes. When he opened them, the only emotion I saw was pure love.

"I love you more than words can say. I love you more than there are stars in the sky. My love for you is like the universe, it is always getting bigger. I love you more than my own brother... and I was devastated when I lost him. If I lost you... I would lose myself."

I put my hand on his, the one cupping my cheek.

"Why, why would you ever ask that question?"

I leaned into Aaron and sighed.

"I... I had a nightmare where everyone hated me."

He pulled me closer, wrapping his arms around my small body.

"That... if that dream were real... that would be an alternate universe. In other words, not possible."

Aaron laid down. I followed, pushing my head into the crook of his neck. His arms tightened around me. His breathing deepened and steadied, and I soon drifted off to sleep with him.
