Aphmau's POV

I leaned back on the couch, sighing as I sank into the fluffy cushion. The past week had been quite uneventful. To be honest, Garroth and Laurence's date and Aaron's nightmare had been the only major events that had happened. Luckily, Aaron had recovered from his sickness, and I didn't catch it. The TV was turned on, and I sat in front of it, though I wasn't really watching the show that was on.

I glanced at my phone, checking the time. I let out another sigh. It was 11:53. I sat up, knocking a pillow off the couch in the process. Not bothering to pick it up, I raced upstairs. Smiling widely, I quietly opened my dresser. I looked over at the bed. Aaron was asleep on the bed, his mouth slightly open and soft snores issuing from his mouth. His hair was messy, and he was sprawled out on the bed. He looked adorable.

I pulled out a purple, one-piece bathing suit, throwing it on before grabbing a towel and racing outside. The warm breeze gently blew on my face, lifting my hair slightly. I stepped onto the first step in the pool. The water was up to to my ankles, and it felt amazing against my skin. I stepped onto the second step, relishing the feel of the warm water. I sat down on the stairs and sighed.

I couldn't swim, as much as I wanted to.

Suddenly, I felt two strong arms wrap around my waist.

"Gah!" I yelped.

Someone chuckled behind me, then spoke in a deep voice. "Hey, Babe."

I let out a small giggle. "Hey, Aaron."

"What are you doing out here?" He asked, his voice full of concern.

"I wanted to go in the water, but I can't swim." I laughed, though it sounded forced and sad.

I was suddenly lifted into the air. Aaron put one arm under my legs and one arm under my back. He held me to his chest.

"A-Aaron?" I said. A red blush was quickly spreading across my face. He said nothing and laughed. Slowly, he walked into the water. I screamed, wrapping my arms arms around his neck and clinging to Aaron.

"Babe, it's okay. I won't let you fall. And if you do fall, I'll be here to save you," he said while laughing. I stopped clinging to him so tightly, instead letting my arms rest on Aaron's shoulders. I looked down at the water. I loved how it moved ever so slightly, and the patterns it made on the pool floor. I looked up again at Aaron's face. His eyes were dark, but they were filled with emotion. His skin was smooth to the touch, not a blemish in sight. His hair was dark and soft. It was messy in the best way, and it framed his face perfectly.

I gasped when I felt my feet touch the water. I was slowly becoming immersed in the water. Aaron was walking into the deeper part of the pool, staring into my eyes.

I repositioned myself, wrapping my legs around Aaron's waist. He snaked one arm around my waist, and cupped my cheek with his other hand. He slowly brought my face closer to his. I was blushing profusely, but I slowly pulled him closer to me.

All at once, Aaron's lips were on mine. The kiss was gentle and soft. It wasn't hurried or rough. It made me feel like the kiss wasn't ever going to end. However, he pulled away, only to smile at me and go back for another. I finally pulled away, opening my eyes and smiling at him.

I rested my head on his shoulder, and he wrapped his other arm around my body. Aaron held me tight, slowly walking out of the pool.

"I love you, Aaron," I mumbled tiredly. He leaned down to whisper in my ear.

"I love you, too, my stupid potato."

*Author's Note*
Yay! Cute stuff! This was so hard to write. I was starting to write it as Aphmau goes swimming, but then I remember that Aphmau couldn't swim.

-_-

Anyway, I'm thinking of doing a Q&A when I hit 15 or 20k reads. But I don't know if anyone would want to see that, or if anyone would even have any questions. I figured I'd just see what you guys say. So, would you guys like a Q&A?
