Dare or Dare

The night before

Skype call (all Sidemen members)

"Hey guys. You know how it's valentine's day tomorrow?" JJ asked and everyone nodded. "Well, I wanna play some games with you all tomorrow and this one will be crazy. NO EXCUSES."

"JJ, all your ideas during parties are crazy." Ethan yelled.

"Ugh, do you guys want to at least know one of the we're playing?"

Everyone shook their head.

"Ok whatever. We're playing truth or dare but without the truth. So it's almost like the movie Nerve."

"Seriously? I- what are you up to now?" Josh noticed JJ laughing.

"The game isn't just a normal game...I'm making it pure dirty." JJ laughed.

"For fuck sake JJ!" Tobi yelled at him. "I can't do dirty stuff."

"But that's the challenge. Get put of your comfort zone Tobi."

"Guys. Let's just make JJ happy tomorrow. He seems pretty excited." Josh said to everyone in the skype call.

"Fine. If you guys are doing it, I will as well." Simon told the others.

"Then it's a deal. We're playing Dare or Dare tomorrow night. Sidemen house. Be here around 7 PM." JJ said happily into the chat.

Everyone agreed and signed off the call to record, edit, or sleep.

The next night...

Of course JJ wanted to play dirty dare or dare especially with us. That's his thing.

"I'm scared for what might happen. After all it's JJ." I held Josh's hand as we walked down the stairs.

Josh and I have been dating for a few months, but we've never come out to anyone (except our family members), not even the other Sidemen members. The two of us didn't know anything except that JJ removed the truths... AGAIN. As we arrived in the kitchen I quickly let go of Josh's hand as everyone else arrived for the video. 

"Are you guys ready?" JJ asked creepily as the camera started rolling. The rest of us slowly nodded in agreement.

"Alrighty then. Let's start with... HARRY! Pick a card from the middle!" 

"Fuck sake. I knew you'd do that." Harry picked a card from the dare pack. "Blow a raspberry on someone's cheek. WHY DO YOU DO THIS TO ME JJ?!?!" JJ just laughed at Harry. 

Harry eyes went straight towards me... oh no...

Sorry Haz, but I'm taken. That thought ran in my head.

"Hey Simon! I got something for ya!" 

He came towards the side of my head and roughly blew the raspberry on my cheek. 

"Ew and ow." I looked at Josh and I could see the hurt in his eyes. Knowing him he was trying to smile it away.

"Aw, cute." JJ said.

As the game continued on, there were many more disgusting things happening like JJ lap dancing on Vikk. Typical JJ.

"TOBI!" JJ picked out Tobi's dare. "I dare you to grind on me." Everyone but Tobi roared into laughter, Tobi's head immediately went into his hands.

"I'm starting to question why I became friends with you." And so Tobi was forced to do his dare.

"I dare Ethan now!" Tobi yelled out.

Ethan then picked a card and he had to twerk for a few seconds in front of the camera. All the other boys started yelling and hollering. Ethan then stopped.

"Hey Josh, your turn." Ethan said, out of breath for some reason.

I looked at Josh as he picked another dare card and looked at it. His eyes immediately went wide making everyone in the room laugh. He started to facepalm himself with the card.

"What'd you get?" Tobi asked. 

I looked over and I felt my cheeks heaten and turn red.

"What does it say?"

Josh sighed. "Kiss the person to the right side of you for ten seconds straight on the lips." Everyone started screaming.

"WAIT. SO THAT MEANS-" JJ couldn't complete his sentence due to fangirling.

"-JOSH HAS TO KISS SIMON!" Tobi finished JJ's sentence.

Josh and I looked at each other kinda shocked. I then leaned my head towards his ear. "If this is the way we're gonna come out, then so be it." I whispered in Josh's ear with him nodding.

Josh turned and moved his chair closer, interlocking our hands under the table. He then looked towards the camera and JJ.

"C'mon Josh! Hurry up already! I wanna see this." JJ yelled.

He sighed. Josh then cupped my cheeks, and pressed his lips on mine. All I heard was screaming from the others (mostly JJ), but I kept blocking it out as I smiled through the kiss. Josh then pulled away after ten seconds.

"WHOO! Is it getting hot in here, or is it just me?" JJ yelled making everyone laughed, including the two of us.

I looked at Josh who looked back at me. I chuckled before facing JJ. "Wait, you guys are actually a couple?!"

I chuckled as Josh grabbed my hand from under the counter. "Truth to be told, we've been dating for a few months now." He brought up our intertwined hands, making me smile.

At least a weight has been lifted off my shoulders.

"Ladies and gentleman..." JJ said to his camera, "I bring you an unexpected couple, minizerk."

"Happy Valentine's Day babe." Josh smiled at me.

"Happy Valentine's Day to you too." I smiled back at him.
