I barely made it down to breakfast that morning.

Sakura had to call Temari, one of the strongest girls in Team, to come and help her drag me out of bed. The night before, my roommate had called the hospital to schedule an appointment with the OB/GYN section of the hospital for me because I was just so messed up to even speak.

With Temari's help, I was able to dress up a little more decently before they practically dragged me downstairs and out of the dorms to one of the cafes. As if to help me, they sat me right by the huge glass windows for the sunlight to wake me while they went to get me food.

I was still a little dysfunctional but I was a little more observant of the happenings around me. People, like always, weren't pay any attention to me. They were busy with themselves to be paying attention.

Good.

In just a few months, I will for sure be in their center of attention.

Something I do not want to happen.

Resting my elbow in the table, I lazingly dropped my chin into my hand with a loud sigh. Giving the baby up for an adoption is something that needs to be done.

It has to be done.

Those are the words that kept replaying in my head exactly as a broken record all night. Used as a way to convince myself that it was the right thing to do.

Then why...

Why does it still feel so wrong?

I was too busy feeling sorry for myself that I didn't notice a tray softly slide in the seat across from me. Looking from my dazed view to the person, I nearly screeched before he shot forward; covering my mouth.

"Please," the jerk murmured. "Let me speak, please, Hinata."

I wasn't afraid of him.

I was just afraid of what he might do to me.

"Please," the guy begged one more time, his backpack still hanging onto his shoulders and his eyes looked...bloodshot.

Also from lack of sleep?

Nah, I don't believe it.

There's no way he's losing sleep over all of this.

I told him I'd take care of everything and nobody would ever have to know about anything. It's true that in a few weeks, I'm going to start showing but that doesn't mean people would ever guess it's gonna be his.

Well now they will!

Naruto Uzumaki and Hinata Hyuga has never interacted before in their lives! Now, all of a sudden, he has a hand covering my mouth in the middle of the entire cafe. The attention that the other students weren't giving me earlier, suddenly turned to us.

I could literally feel all these eyes watching and whispers immediately erupted as background noise.

"Hinata?"

If I don't answer him, I'd never get him to remove his hand.

I nodded once.

Cautiously, the player lifted his hand before slowly sinking into the seat across from me. We didn't talk for a minute or so, waiting for everybody else to wander off. Sure enough, the attention span of college student are those of high school students.

"W-whatever it is," I started, keeping my voice low. "Make it quick. None o-of my friends are really happy about this so you might get b-beaten up if you don't finish in a matter of sixty-five seconds."

Naruto immediately started, "I want you to keep the baby."

"What?" I chuckled, humorously. "I told y-you already, Naruto-kun. It's not your decision."

"But that is my baby, too," his hand gripped the edges of the black tray. "I know you don't have the heart to get an abortion but I have a feeling...knowing you in the short ti-"

"You know nothing about me," I growled. "Let me make that clear right now."

The blonde looked up at me but then averted those crystal blue eyes that made me do stupid stuff in the first place, "Alright. Alright but Hinata, please keep the child."

"Why?" I snapped but then lowered my voice. "It's not l-like you want him or her. You care more a-about your s-stupid ego."

Naruto shook his head, "No! I want to be able to r-raise my kid instead of having them being sent from foster home to another."

"W-wait," I blinked, shocked. "Who t-told....Sasuke."

The basketball captain nodded, "He doesn't want the baby to be adopted either."

"If you don't have any s-say as this baby's father," I am now angry at Sasuke, too. "Then Sasuke has nothing to do with them either."

I can't believe I ever thought it'd be safe to trust Sasuke. But I know there is no way I can stay angry at him because he doesn't want the child to be adopted.

I'm more enraged, even that he went and told Naruto about my plans! He just full out betrayed me by saying anything to this jerk.

I'll talk to him later.

But for now, "Look, it's going to be a lot better if t-this child is adopted by parents who are over twenty and have jobs, Naruto-kun. Think about it for a second: I-I can't provide for the child as much because I'm still in c-college."

"I'll help you, Hinata," Naruto argued, his face getting a little flustered from this discussion. "That baby growing in your stomach is still my baby, need I remind you."

"And need I remind you that I don't want them to know that their father is some sort of player that has sex with every single girl h-he meets," I shut my eyes, my head spinning a bit either from the stress building up because of this argument or from the pregnancy. "If you truly were worthy of the position, then I w-would for sure keep this child and raise it with him. But I don't think it's r-really smart if I keep them."

"I am willing to give up everything for you to keep this baby, Hinata so please," Naruto clasped his hands gently together on the table. "Please, let me prove it to you that I willing to do everything I can for our baby."

I made the mistake of meeting his eyes.

The moment I did: I noticed the determination blaring in them.

Naruto is absolutely serious about this child would be my first thought if I let the emotions burning in his eyes be the only testimony to what he plans for this baby.

But I know...

That if I trusted him again...

All he would do is let me down.

Not only me this time but an innocent baby who just had to suffer for his parents' stupid actions.

"I'm s-sorry," I shook my head. "I just can't...trust you another time."

The words literally slapped him across the face as I stood up; pushing my chair back.

"I made that m-mistake once, Naruto-kun," I continued, slowly returning the chair back to its original position. "And look what happened to me."

Naruto stood up, "Hina-"

"Don't," I sucked in the breath, taking a step back. "Please, j-just leave me alone."
