Naruto

I knew one of the best parks in the entire country because I accidentally wandered up here when I was feeling lonely. It had the greatest views and not to mention one of the biggest grass fields I have ever seen. With the leaves changing, my intentions would be perfect.

Sasuke originally was against the plan because he thought it was stupid but at the end he thought better of it. Now, I have some sort of wing-man if I need it.

The drive was pretty quiet since we left pretty early. The entire time it was just me picking on Sasuke as he tried to drive. The rest of the gang found other things to do so it was just Hinata, Sakura, Sasuke and me. It felt like it was gonna be a double date but Sasuke promised the focus would be on Hinata and me.

The girls didn't suspect a thing. That or they were too tired to deal with Naruto nonsense.

"Why a-a picnic all of a sudden?" Hinata stood beside me out of nowhere. Sakura and Sasuke were setting up the blanket and everything else.

I was leaning against the elder tree, the same one I come to whenever I want to clear my head. It was chilly but it wasn't too cold where jackets were required. Hinata was even wearing sleeveless white blouse like dress with black shorts. I wanted to scold her and tell her for the sake of our baby to put on something warm but decided against it.

If anything, I'm wearing a black sweater myself. She can just use it when she needs.

"I wanted to go out into nature for a bit." I admitted. "We won't be getting a lot of warm days for a while so I wanted to use the last couple ones as much as I can, believe it."

Hinata nodded her understanding

Now.

I looked over her at Sasuke who met my eye. He gave a small nod telling me he's ready.

I suddenly sat down.

"Sit with me, Hina." I patted the spot next to me. Leaves were all over the ground so it was soft enough for her to be comfortable.

She blinked a couple times before following my wish.

We sat there for a couple seconds, enjoying the late autumn breeze and even if she wasn't, I loved having her company so close to me. It's so calming, knowing she's safe with me and just passing time.

"It's beautiful." She took a deep breath, a content smile spread across her face. The wind slowly sent her hair into this hypnotic wave I couldn't break my attention away.

"Yeah. She is." I sighed.

Hinata looked at me. "What was that?"

"N-nothing." I cleared my throat. "So, what's your plan for the future?"

"I-I don't know."

"You don't know?"

She shook her head and released a heavy breath. "I always had the one goal in mind and that was to build airplanes for my father's company."

"How about marriage?"

Hinata shrugged. "I always thought I'd meet some cute, nerdy guy while working and we'd just fall in love and start from there."

The thought of Hinata being with some other man made my skin crawl but I kept my mouth shut.

"But it got messed up when I met you." She stopped herself, I felt a pang of guilt. "No. I wouldn't say 'messed up' is the proper term."

Hinata looked up at me. "You changed my life. Now, I'm just gonna play by ear. I might not work for my father's company but a different one might hire. I might still be able to meet a guy then who would be okay with me having a child with another man."
