Naruto

I need help.

A lot of help.

And who else would be better than a man who's in love himself?

"Sasuke!" I flung the door to my room open, scaring my roommate awake. It wasn't too late into the night and I didn't want Hinata to be out. Didn't want to strain her or anything while she's carrying the baby. Or just in general.

She started yawning the moment we both finished our food. I thought I was gonna have to carry her back to the car or something because of the look in her eyes.

But at the same time...

Kami, she's beautiful.

Sasuke groaned in his sleep and just stayed where he was. He wasn't happy for my existence in the first place. He's never gonna be happy with me now.

He wasn't to begin with.

"I need your help big time!" I jumped onto his bed, the whole ordeal just to piss him off a little more otherwise the fucker is only gonna go back to sleep.

My roommate barely moved his head. "What?"

"It's Hinata -" I began.

Sasuke shot up immediately. "Is the baby coming?!"

I blinked. "No. She's got a couple more months to go, remember?"

The relief flooded his face was just as visible as the annoyance that followed. "What the fuck do you want then?"

"So tonight." I crossed my legs and cleared my throat. I can't keep this bottled up inside me anymore. If I do, I might just explode and nobody is ever going to find out the reason for Naruto Uzumaki's death.

What the fuck am I thinking about now....

"I went over to bother Hinata because there was a rumor going around that I slept with another girl which I didn't. I wanted to make sure she knew there wasn't anyone else and I am fully committed to her, believe it."

"Stop, dweeb." Sasuke yawned. "I remember you calling me about you being in the room or something. I didn't really care to remember."

"So I really was, right?"

Sasuke nodded. "I came home at like midnight and you were drooling and mumbling Hinata's name."

"Good." Wait. "What?!"

"You don't even need to tell me the rest." He sighed. "You're in love with her. Admit it."

"I-I-"

I -

"Let me guess: you accidentally let it slip you had feelings for her and you were afraid that since she asked you to just be friends, she might end all ties with you so you just played it off like the huge idiot you are." He smirked when my mouth dropped open. "Right?"

Wow.

"You got some sixth sense or something?" I blinked.

My roomie shook his head. "Nope. Just hella good vision but besides the point: what are you gonna do about all of this?"

"That's why I'm here to ask you." I sighed. "Am I really in love with Hinata or is it just some sort of shitty ass illusion?" I started picking at the blanket. "I don't remember ever feeling this way about someone and I don't know man..."

Sasuke rolled his eyes. "Alright then let me ask you a couple things."

"Okay."

"Put yourself ten years into the future: where do you see yourself?"

Ten years away...

"I'm a detective and I have a family waiting for me at home." I mumbled. "My wife would have this giant pot of ramen ready for me so when I finish, she would have a bowl waiting for me at the table. Our kid which would most likely be a boy would probably be no more than five running around telling me about his day. Then we would all just settle down and enjoy the amazing food, talking about our days and stuff like that." I then turned to my roommate. "Why?"

He completely ignored my question and continued with whatever point he was trying to prove. "Now your wife. Who do you see standing there?"

Who do I see?

Like he wants me to picture the future woman I want to be in the kitchen with the pot ready smiling so warmly at me when I walk through the door?

"Close your eyes." Sasuke ordered. "And tell me the first face your mind brings to mind."

I don't like this game.

"Just do it." Sasuke clicked his tongue.

I gave it maybe two heartbeats before slowly closing them.

Automatically, my heart sped up when my mind painted the woman I desired. The one I wanted to stand in the kitchen, the golden band around her ring finger and the deep love she had to for me swimming in her lavender when I came up to kiss her.

The raven hair tied in any way that didn't matter. She's just so breathtaking I didn't know how to react.

To think that she's actually just mines.

All mines.

Welcome home, Naruto-kun.

"It's her." I opened my eyes.

"Who's her?"

"I want her." I chuckled to myself. "I love her."

Sasuke finally smiled at me. "Should I take a guess?"

"You would guess right." I leaned back but then shot forward again. "Help me with something else."

"What now?"

"I know my past isn't crystal clear and I don't want old bitches coming in making Hinata think I'm still up to no good." I said. "How do I get rid of them?"

Sasuke crossed his arms, his brows furrowed as he raked his smart brain for an answer. I don't want a repeat of what happened this afternoon. I don't think I can handle Hinata pushing me away again because she doesn't think I'm faithful.

She might not know it yet but I don't attend to leave her. I'm loyal and only to her.

He shook his head. "I have no idea. I guess you just gotta let them know you're unavailable."

Let them know....huh!

That's it!

"Hey, asshole leave your Sunday open." I smirked. "We're going on a picnic."
