Hinata
"So..." A voice stopped me dead in my tracks.
I was busy collecting my books, ready to run back to my dorm to relax. The entire pregnancy, balancing whatever it is going on between Naruto and me, being there for my friends have literally taken a toll on me.
It's been maybe a two weeks or so since Naruto and I came to a pretty good standing place in our...what is it? He comes to pick me up every day after shop class and he's always the first face I see in the morning. I thought I could sneak around with the morning sickness starting to hit hard. I don't know who told him or if he heard but every single morning when I wake up to rush to the bathroom, Naruto is there waiting for me. He stays there on his phone until I finish my morning business before he heads back to get ready himself.
Then when I think the coast is clear of him, I find him downstairs waiting for me in the lobby.
The first two days I was utterly confused. I asked him why since his first class isn't until noon but he just smiled.
"Don't worry about it. I just want to."
Not only me, Naruto's been hanging out around my friends a lot more. Everywhere Sasuke goes, he's there. I knew they were friends before but it was always Naruto off with a different crowd rather than hanging out with us. The said different crowd did the same as he; bed a girl and ditch them.
I will say, much to my shame, that I'm glad he's out of there. They came around a couple times asking for him and he bluntly just turned them down much everybody's shock. Kiba and Shino still don't trust him as much as the rest of us and he hits on Ino from time to time but they tolerate him enough to enjoy our meals and our down time with him. I'm guessing they're doing it for my benefit.
After all, the two of us are having a kid together.
It's just been peaceful. I find myself enjoying my time with Naruto and my friends, actually glad I had so many support behind me and this child of mines. Neji, however, still hasn't come around to check on me and that worries me. He's on campus and I see him around but he still refuses to look in my direction. Naruto wants to fight him every single time but I manage to stop him.
My family is something I'll deal with when I have to go home for the holidays.
If I go home for the holidays...
"Um hello? Important person in front of you weirdo." I snapped back to reality to see the none other Karin Uzumaki; Naruto's past play thing who doesn't know what the words 'I'm done' means.
Be strong, Hinata. "Can I help you?"
"You're the new thing my Naruto has been so interested in lately." she put so much emphasis on the word 'thing' I thought she ran out of breath to finish the sentence.
I guess not.
I shrugged, going back to my packing. "No. He's a friend."
"Naruto doesn't just 'friend' people. Especially girls." I could feel the bitch's evil smirk even if my back turned to her. "Everybody here knows that."
Her two side-chicks agreed with her with the snarliest 'yeahs' I've ever heard. I just closed my eyes, trying to control my hormones. She's a different level of crazy and I'm not wanting to deal with her today or any day.
"What do you want?" I cut to the point. I'm too tired to be playing the nice person anymore.
"I want you to stay away from him." Karin hissed. "He's mines. He knows it, too. He's just in the stage where he's like having fun but ultimately, I'm the only one that can make him finish in bed so we belong together. Simple as that."
