VIENNESE
I went home after work. I saw my mom and Jim, my 15-year old brother, in the living room, maybe watching television.
I have 3 siblings. Jim, Jam (my 12-year-old sister who pertains to herself as a ‘lady’) and Jem (my super cute 7-year old brother). I know they have these super funny nicknames. Thank Mom for not giving me the name “Jom”.
My dad left us when I was 11 years old. Jam and Jem’s father is not the same as Jim and mine’s.
"Hey Viens." My mom smiled as she noticed me.
I kissed her cheeks and messed up Jim's hair. He shoved my hand as he shouted "HEY!" I chuckled at his reaction. He hates it when his hair gets messed up.
"I made dinner. It's in the kitchen table." mom said while she started to fold some clothes. It's laundry day.
"Not hungry but spare me some. I might change my mind after doing my homework." I went upstairs. This is a daily routine for me. Go to school, go to work then home. I'll change my clothes then start doing school stuff. As I've said, I'm not really a popular kid. Alex is the only true friend I have.
----------
"Hi Miss!" I was walking down the hallway when a guy suddenly jumped in front of me and gave me this ultra-flirty smile.
"uhmmm hi?" It sounded more like a question than a greeting. I don't even know this guy!
"You're Viennese Barson, right?" He asked. How does he know my name?
"Yes? uhhh-- how do---" I was just starting to ask him but he cut me off.
"I'm Dave Branford and I happen to have a list of all the single woman here." He gave that ultra-flirty smile again. He's kinda weird and... HE HAS A LIST OF ALL THE SINGLE WOMAN?! Is he some kind of gigolo or something?
"uhmmm sorry but I’m not really interested in your business." I tried to fake a smile and started walking out of the scene. I know I have a terribly 'awkward' personality but hey, I know when to unleash that kind of attitude and it's definitely a handful one right now.
"Then will it make it your business if I'm here to confess?" I stopped on my tracks, shocked. turned around and gave him a curious look.
"What did you just say?" I walked towards him. Am I just imagining things?
"I said I’m here to confess my feelings... actually, my friend's feelings." He crossed his arms and he leaned to a locker close to him. His friend?
"Feelings? About what? What's that got to do with me?" I'm now asking too many questions. I am just so confused on what this guy's saying!
"You got my friend, Clint's, attention. He's crazy about you, Viennese Barson." He smirked, probably making fun of my reaction at the moment.
"uhhhhh... wow... really?" as much as I want to be surprised, I can't because I don't know who the heck is Clint!
"you're not kidding with me, are you? Because if you are, I might want to punch you in the face." I narrowed my eyes at him at he laughed so hard, he almost rolled on the floor.
"You're one funny lady, Viennese Barson!" He said as he tried to stop his laughter. Oh God. Now, I do look like a laughingstock on this Dave guy.
"uhhhhm, was that a compliment? Should I be thanking you?" Now I’m trying to be sarcastic.
"Clint will surely die from madness!" He started laughing again. What is it with this guy and making fun of me?
"Who's Clint? Just.. just answer me please and explain everything clearly!" I'm starting to get irritated.
"You don't know Clint? Clint Rallison?" His smile slowly faded away as he narrowed his eyes on me.
"Rallison?" I heard that name before...... Oh!
"I saw him once on Mr. Balder's class. Clint Rallison. Yeah. He was staring at me which I think was very creepy." I got goose bumps as I recalled that time.
"Creepy? Every woman who was given that look by Clint thought it was charming." He said, giving emphasis on the word 'charming'.
“Well yeah, I heard this ‘Rallison’ guy is pretty popular with the ladies but sorry, I’m not one of them” I need to pinpoint to this Dave that I'm not really one of those women who are all after a popular jerk.
“He likes you!” He almost shouted, his eyebrows crooked.
“He likes me or he’s just messing with me?” I turned my back and walked out.
I know he doesn't really like me.

CLINT
"dude, I'm tellin' ya! she doesn't care about all your deep shit feelings." Dave laughed at me. I shot him a glare.
I asked Dave to help me get to Viennese. He was supposed to be the one responsible for introducing me then after Viennese smiled, I'll enter the scene and take over. Charming girls is not really a new thing for me. I'm a natural at that field. Well, Dave is the expert and I'm like a 'sub-expert' and Math is the serious one, the unwilling apprentice.
"You obviously pissed her off, Dave. How was she supposed to be charmed when all you did was laugh at her reactions!" I shouted. That got Math's attention and he told me to chill down.
"Well you can't blame me! She was very hilarious! One helluva funny woman!" he smiled at the thought of Viennese. I do agree with him. Her reaction was priceless.
"but still, you shouldn't had to laugh at her like she was a clown." I scolded him but he kept on smiling like an asshole he is.
"yeah yeah whatever, Clint." He shrugged.
What am I gonna do now?
She doesn't like me and she thinks I'm creepy.
That's a new thing for me.
AN: Sorry if this chapter's too short! I'm currently out of fresh ideas, but I'm always planning the events for every chapter.
I've already uploaded Math's (Clint's friend) story on Fictionpress but it's not as neat as this one. It's just a draft and I want to know other readers' opinion of that story :) As soon as I get to finish TIBI, I'll be posting all of the chapters of Math's story :)
Dedicated to lennwebster! I just love Thirty Eight Days! Nolan and Clara <3
Thanks again! Happy reading!
