VIENNESE

After that talk with Alex,  I went straight to the bookstore and started my duty as a 'book caretaker'.'

Since there are only quite few customers today , I  decided to continue reading the book I've bought here yesterday.  Though I said I don't need a man, I'm still very fond of happy-ever -afters and romance.

I sat down in the rotten swivel chair, facing the mac computer. The book was about this girl who had fallen in love to a guy with a mental disorder. I'm afraid that this will end tragically and I'll be left broken-hearted.

"Please be well, Seb." I whispered to myself. I'm really wishing that the mentally sick guy, Sebastian, would be cured and he will end up with Clara.

I was really hooked up with the book, I never saw that there was a guys standing in the counter.

"Hi!" I was surprised upon hearing a voice. I looked up and saw.... 'Oh holy Doritos! It's Clint Rallison!' I screamed inside my head.

'Wow, Is he really this tall and lean?' I asked myself, still looking at the guy in front of me.

"Viennese Barson." He called out to me. Wow. How weird. There's a strange feeling when he said my name, he's still creepy though.

"uhhh can I help you?" I gulped. I know I look awkward, and sound dorky but I can't help but feel goosebumps(yeah, again) now that the actual Clint Rallison is here.

"I'm Clint Rallison. You know me, right?" He took out a small smile and I know it's him, being charming.

"Yeah.... I-I think so. I just can't believe you're actually here, standing in front of me----" He smiled wider and cut me off "asking you to love me."  I felt my eyes widened.

"w-what?" I stuttered. Great.

"It's a line from Notting Hill but of course I kinda revised what I've said." He's till wearing that smile. It's either charming or creepy or both.

I just made on 'Oh' gesture then there goes a silence which is very awkward for me.

"You already know I like you, right?" He asked me straightforwardly. Woah, Woah, Woah Dude!

"I-I guess? Your flirty friend told me you... like.. well, me."  I can't look at him but I can feel his smile because of my uneasiness. He's enjoying this!

"flirty friend? You're really something. I know, you are." I tried looking at him but when our eyes met, I saw the amazement in his beautiful eyes. I looked away.

"Why do I get the feeling you don't get this a lot?" He asked me.

"I really don't. You're actually the---" I stopped. I won't say it. It's embarassing.

"I'm what?" He raised his brows, trying to put up a cute look. Well he's not failing at it. 'He's still a creeper.'

"N-nothing. Do you need some books?"   I diverted the topic. I'm not really comfortable with him.

He's looking right through me. I don't know if I hate it or not.

CLINT

"I don't need book. I need your permission."  I went here at Barney's bookstore just because of one thing.

"Permission?" Do I really creep her out? She can't even look at me for a minute!

"Permission to officially court you, Viennese. I want you with me." Finally! that got her attention, though she stared at me like I'm a mad man but it's fine! I got to see her steel gray eyes!

"W-what? court me? Are you serious?" She still can't believe I'm into her?

"What do I need to do just for you to beliene me? Do I need to get you flowers? Chocolates? Anything! Name it and I'll give it to you."  I spread my hands to show how far I could go just to let me have her permission. Damn. I'll give everything I own for this woman, blushing and speechless in front of me. Her skin glows, her cheeks... so adorable, he hair is fucking perfect despite locked in a messy ponytail.

"I-I don't need anything. I don't... like you giiving me anything."

"You want me to DO anything? I'll do it!"  I'm all hyped out just by seeing her like this. I need to get a hold of myself.

"No, I mean... You.... Don't court me. Ever." My smile faded away upon hearing her answer.

"You.. don't like me?" I asked, more like a whisper. She nodded, facing down.

"Excuse me, Do you have ---- oh I'm sorry!" An old woman interrupted. We both looked at her and Viennese looked at me and told the old lady, "No, it's okay. We're done discussing." She smiled at her. A fake one.

"Oh, I thank you, I badly needed help!"  the lady smiled and Viennese went to help her.

I just stood there unable to believe it happened.

I was rejected by a woman for the first time

And I don't feel so happy about it.
