Roc's POV~~~~~~

I sped off down the road in YN's car. I had to do this quickly, before everyone woke up. I decided that today had to be the day. Today will be the day that I ask YN out. If she doesn't say yes, I'll be crushed. Am I making a really big deal out of this? Yes, I am, but she's a very big deal. I've liked her since the moment I set eyes on her. Do I believe in love at first sight? psshht no. I believe in yearning or desire at first sight, but certainly not love. How can you love someone you don't know?

I want to buy her something special. I'm going to buy her a special necklace. I walked into the jewelry store.

Alejandro: Well, well, long time no see

Roc: Too bad it didn't last.

Alejandro: Well it never does, does it? What are you in here for?

Roc: To buy something for a special person. Someone you never appreciated.

Alejandro: Oh you mean the girl you tried to steal from me

Roc: I didn't try, I succeeded. And what are you doing here, trying another robbery?

Alejandro: Essentially. Picking out what I'm coming back for.

Roc: Okay well it was a delight talking to you. If you would, please move so I can do what I came here for

Alejandro: Ok. We'll meet again

Roc: Hopefully not

Alejandro turned to go look at another display, the little bitch. Oh how I hated him. I got the ring and necklace and drove back to YN's house. I parked in the driveway and sneaked back in.

YN: Roc? Where have you been, its like 5 in the morning

Roc: YN, I've been wanting to ask you something

YN: What

"Well, as you probably already knew, or maybe you didn't, I um really like you and so uh, I was wondering, will you be my girlfriend?" I asked timidly

YN:

Roc: I mean I'll understand if you don't want to....

YN: Oh no, no, I'd love to be your girlfriend. I was just a little shocked that you wanted me to. I liked you all this time too, although, aha, I did a great job of hiding it

I ran over and picked her up, spinning her around in circles.

"I'm sorry, but actually you were quite the fail. I could easily tell by the way you blushed and tensed up whenever you were around me. Don't even lie."

"Thou hath told a lie, for I would do no such thing," she replied

"Well i got something for you," I said, handing her the necklace I had bought for her.

"Oh its beautiful!" she said, filled with happiness, her eyes brimming with tears of joy

"I'm glad you like it," I said sheepishly

The necklace was ingraved with the words "To the world you may be someone, but to me you are the world" She pulled the necklace out of the box and held it in the light for a moment, admiring the sparkle of the diamonds in the light. Then she put it around her neck and ran her fingers lightly over the words carved into it.

"I hope its not too much.."

"No it's perfect. Just perfect." she assured me

"Isn't this a bit sterotypical?" I asked her. "The pretty cheerleader dates the handsome athlete?"
