La Fiesta de la Primavera

We all woke up in the morning at around 7:30 to get ready to go to the festival. Our hair and makeup artists are going to meet us there. We all drove to the park and parked in the lot early.

"So great to have you all here!" Timothy Harper said when we arrived.

"Its an honor to be invited," Chantelle said.

"You can go get prepared in that building over there," he said, gesturing towards a smallish building a little ways away from the park area."We'll be starting at 11:00."

We lugged our bags over to the building and entered. There were several dressing rooms, as well as a lounge. We walked into our dressing room and took a seat in the chairs. Our dressing room was green. Our hair and makeup artists were already in there waiting for us. We have a specific hair and makeup artist that we hire for all of our events now that the gang is bringing in an abundance of money.

"They have Chick-fil-a in the lounge waiting for you," Our hairstylist, Raina Meadows told us. She had long red hair, a lip ring, and vibrant blue eyes. She's 23. She was wearing a navy blue, black, white, and red sailor dress, and nautical Louboutin shoes of the same color.

"Oh, and please hurry so that we can have enough time to prepare you and let you practice one last time," our makeup artist, Jenna Lambert said. Jenna is 26 and she has deep blue eyes and blue hair with purple highlights. Jenna was wearing a black lace one shoulder corset dress and dark blue heels.

We went outside to the table in the center of the lounge and got some food. I got the Chick-n-minis. I love the bread on those things, they're like little bites of heaven. When we finished, we went back and sat down. They had the curling irons and makeup set up on the counter. First, we got dressed. We decided to wear a rainbow brite cosplay pinafore apron costume skirt with a white shirt and a rainbow waist dress belt that tied behind our backs. We also wore rainbow striped suspenders, a rainbow striped bow tie, rainbow striped tights, blue converse, and a gummy bear necklace and earrings.

"Ta-da!" Imani said, spinning around.

We looked.....striking.

"What hair style are you guys going for?" Raina asked

"We want it to be straight at the top, but curled from the shoulders down," Gigi explained.

Raina examined our hair.

"Okay."

She washed our hair and combed it out. Then, she picked up her straightening iron.

"Okay, so iron straight," she muttered to herself as straighter our hair.

"What do you think about bouncy?" she asked.

"Definitely. The bouncier, the better," we told her.

She curled our hair into large ringlets. Then she left us to Jenna to finish our look.

Jenna looked at our eyes and then decided on a look. We usually let Jenna do her own thing since she always does a great job. She started by applying an eyeshadow base to our eyelids. Then she added green eyeshadow to the middle of our eyelids, tinting it at the outer edge. In the inner edge, she added lime green with yellow layered on top. In the inner crease, she put gold with a tiny bit of silver at the edge. She lined our eyes with purple liquid liner and added black to the rest of the crease. Above that, she added a dark purple, which faded to a light purple. She put a skin toned color near our eyebrows. She added black liner to the top lid and used purple pencil eyeliner on our water line. She curled our eyelashes and then put black mascara on the top lashes and purple mascara on the bottom lashes. She finished the look with a bit of blush to give our faces some color and pink lip gloss.
