ii. smell
she smelt like a warm chocolate, dripping off a spoon,
like a mother cooking for her children,
like the florets that exulted upon tombstones,
like the essence of rain dancing in the muddy grass,
like a beautiful wildflower, awaiting its discovery,
like a cheap perfume that intoxicated his very soul,
being with her was like standing under a mango tree,
she overpowered him, she controlled him.
but he could not bear to not smell her scent again,
as he was in complete and utter longing for her.
