day 4 part 1

Tally Youngblood POV: 

I woke silently and looked out the window of the cabin. The water was gone. I took my journal and flipped through my stories. I had very little time to write in here and lately I had been writing about Thalia. She'd died in the arena last year. I shivered remembering how she died to that thing. 

"Tally, you want to go for a walk?" There at the door Kiki was in a yellow poncho? 

"Kiki where did you find that?" I asked getting up. 

"Oh, I found it in the closet upstairs. There's five of them in different colors along with water proof boots." She explained.

I went upstairs to the closet there was the coats. I grabbed the beige one with a thick hood it did up in three buttons and I slipped on some black boots out of the ones I had worn for days. I was about to go when Nalla came out of her shared room with me.

"Hey where are you going." She asked.

"Out for a walk with Kiki the water's gone. Want to come?" I asked.

"Sure. Might as well grab a jacket like you and Kiki?" She smiled a bit grabbing a dark blue coat.

She slipped on black boots as well. We went down to Kiki who waited patiently for us. She straightened up seeing us. We went out into the wet grounds.

The grain which once stood tall was now flattened around the whole cabin. We could see rock formations in the distance. We needed to be moving though. We went to the river that rushed by us. It was back to it's bed. Kiki simply went over walking in the mud. It was completely soaked outside. 

"Odd isn't it?" Nalla commented beside us. 

"How this was once full of water only to still be the same?" I asked.

She nodded and went onto the river bank with Kiki. We were silent for a few moments.

"I think I know why the body's there." Kiki suddenly proclaimed.

I just cocked an eyebrow at her. I didn't want to bring up that decaying thing that was under the couch. I shuddered remembering. Same hair as HER. yes I mean her, my twin. The closed eyes I swear I could see her's in that cold body's head. Thalia. 

"Your explanation Kiki?" I asked, a little bitterly.

"It's to scare you, out of us your the only one with a dead relative from the games. They wanted to scare you. And they did to some degree, but not enough for you to commit suicide. I've seen it before, where they lay a body of a dead family member to drive another tribute insane." Kiki rambled a bit on it.

"They think a body will do that?" I snarled in disgust. "Thalia maybe dead but her fake body won't make me go over the edge. I have my family to return to. I'm not going to lose and I'll win for her." 

I stomped my foot splashing mud around. I hadn't realized how close we were from the tree's when an arrow went whizzing by. It hit my arm. I groaned and fell to my knees. 

Kiki was to my side in seconds. She pulled out her bracelet and fiddled with something on it. She whispered something as Nalla had a harpoon ready from under her coat. She aimed and a small scream filled the air as another arrow hit Nalla's arm this time. She hissed and fell to her knees. She was a little livid now. Kiki Whispered something to her bracelet and an odd ticking began. 

Nalla though ran into the forest without Kiki knowing. Right then we watched the woods around us explode.
