Jess's POV

Word of Percy's disappearance spread quickly. The whole camp felt like it was holding it's breath. Loosing Percy was definitely a bad omen.

"You wanna talk?" I asked Annabeth.

She was sitting in her cabin clutching a phone. She wasn't crying yet but her eyes were red and reminded me of shattered glass.

"I-I don't know what's happened." Annabeth admitted.

"I know. Come here." I hugged her and we cried together.

"Seaweed brain will be ok." I comforted even though I didn't truly believe that.

"We were just sitting there!" Annabeth stuttered. "I felt a pain in my arm and head and then I passed out. I dreamed of-of my mother telling me to kill someone, or a group of people. She told me to avenge her."

"Hm, I wonder what that could mean."

"I called Thalia, Percy's mom Sally, and Tyson and nobody's seen him. Annabeth sobbed.

"We will find him!" I promised.

Jason's POV

I woke up in a strange bed with a terrible headache. I looked around not knowing where I was. I was in a kind of condo of some sort with marble columns and thunder and lightning flashing inside the room.

Last time I remember I was in... I don't remember where I was last! I got up and ran to a mirror. Blonde hair and blue eyes stared back at me as usual. Somehow I knew I looked the same and I knew I was Jason, but nothing around me looked familiar.

I walked outside to bright sunlight. There was a lake with kids paddling canoes and a few kids fighting with swords.

"Yo Jason!" A short Latino boy ran up to me.

"I-I don't know who you are." I said.

"Ah sure I'm not Leo your best friend, I'm his cousin." The boy joked.

"No honestly, where am I?"

The boy narrowed his eyes. "Did Mr.D whack you in the head or something?"

"Who's Mr.D?"

"Oh gods. If you don't remember the ego maniac wine dude you seriously have a problem!" The boy look concerned. "Lets go see Annabeth."

We walked around this kinda huge horse shoe shaped arrangement of buildings till we got to one with an owl on it. The boy named Leo knocked on the door and walked in.

"Oh sorry." Leo apologized. There were two girls in there crying.

"Nah it's ok." One girl said wiping her eyes.

Both girls were strikingly beautiful. One had blonde hair and gray eyes that seemed to look through you and pull out all your weaknesses. The other girl had dark brown hair, natural tanned skin and big brown eyes that seemed to change hues of browns.

"Jason do you remember any of these girls?" Leo asked.

Jason hesitated, the blonde girl he didn't recognize but the dark haired one seemed almost familiar. But his instincts told him saying that could be very dangerous.

"No." I lied. The dark haired girl studied me skeptically with fear in her eyes.

"Why don't you remember us Jason?" The blonde asked, "remember I'm Annabeth and that's Jessica!"

"Y-yeah." Jessica agreed shakily.

"Just like two days ago you were teasing me and Jess about our "date" remember?" Leo said.

"Oh yeah." Jess added. "Do you remember your girlfriend Piper?"

I shook my head. Annabeth exchanged a worried look with Jessica.

"I just feel like I'm not supposed to be here." I told them.

"So all our memories are fake and yours is real?" Leo asked.

"That's exactly what it feels like!" I exclaimed.

"It's weird you loose your memory the day after Percy disappears." Annabeth noted.

"This is only the beginning little heroes! Powerful things are still yet to rise as you will watch helplessly as your precious little camps will BURN!" A woman's voice shook the room and everyone fell to their knees.
