Adele's POV
(1 Month till the Wedding!)
Today Jess, Beth, Laura, Faith(Simons other daughter) and my Mum are going wedding and bridesmaids dress shopping. We left it until Jess was taking her A Level exams, sort of sounds stupid, but hear me out, we left it so we have something to keep her mind off the exams, she is basically shitting herself because she needs at least 2 A*'s and an A in the 3 subjects she has chosen for A-level (Maths, History and Business Studies) otherwise she wouldn't make it into Cambridge University to study economics. She has her place at Jesus College there, she just needs the grades. I think she is going to smash her A-levels like she did her GCSE's, she just needs to not worry. She is also worrying if Alex and Ashlyn gets the grades they need, they both have a spot at Jesus College too, Alex wants to study Human, Social and Political Sciences (Basically Sociology they just reformed the degree) and if Ashlyn gets the grades she needs she is going to move to the UK to go take her place with Alex and Jess and study Psychological and Behavior Sciences. Since she took her GCSE's 2 years ago, she has grown so much as a person, our mother and daughter bond has only strengthened, she'll be 18 just after the wedding, Simon and I are planning a surprise. To be honest with you I still haven't finished my 4th album, I'm nearly done though, but you know, life happened. I thought I'd finish it when Jess was a couple of weeks away from going to uni so I wouldn't just be leaving her when I go on tour (well as much of a tour as I am doing, it's not like a world tour, I ain't about touring). I've already made it clear to my management that the tour fits around when Jess is home, it's not like I'll be leaving Angelo, he has a private tutor so he can come with me, with Simon.
All 6 of us set off to see one of the top dress designer in the UK, Emma Tindley, I asked Jess to help me design 5 wedding dresses and 5 bridesmaid dresses. We designed them around this time last year so they all could be made, problem is, we forgot what they look like and I hate surprises. We were all really excited, it made it better that we could all go out without security because thankfully the paps now are leaving me and my family alone; I suppose it's because I haven't released an album for so long. I better cherish this luxury though, I decided to do another short lead up to releasing my album, then have it released a couple of days after Jess gets back for Christmas and the first single just before Jess heads off to uni. So then we can celebrate my releases together, she inspired some of the songs on it so she has a right to be at the release party.

We got to the place, it was a medium sized privately owned establishment in East Grinstead, we decided to do the bridesmaid dresses first. I nominated Jess to try them all on then once we pick one, Faith, Laura and Beth would go get their dress on in that style. As soon as I saw the 4th dress on Jess I knew they were the dresses, everyone agreed; it was a pastel coral colour, was strapless, then skirt part was made up from a layered mesh fabric that flowed down to the floor, it was beautiful. The others got their dresses on and I cried with my Mum looking at them, after all, it was her who was going to walk me down the isle, my Dad never made an effort, so why should I call him and tell him he is invited to my wedding because I need someone to give me away, ah no. We had all decided we would have matching shoes to make it a little more intimate, Faith had a flat version of them. (Pic below.)

Finally, it was my turn to try on the 5 dresses I had designed, with Jess. They were all perfect, however as soon as I saw myself in this strapless dress, that had roses made out of fabric, completely covering the top portion of the dress and dispersed as the dress flowed down, I began to cry, it was amazing. And. My baby designed it.(Pic Below)

"Wow Delly you look HOT, H. O. T. Simon is sure to bang you on your wedding night when everyone goes home" she shouted covering Faith's ears. I started to blush.
"Laura, my baby's are here, I'm sure Jess would prefer not to know" I started to giggle.
"Nah Mum she's got a point but I do agree that was a bit Too much Lau..." emphasizing the TOO, Jess and I began to cackle in unison, I swear she was my long lost daughter or something.
"Sorry Delly, shall all get a photograph as a keepsake?" she said apologetically, now uncovering Faith's ears.
I just nodded. We all started to cry tears of happiness, especially me, I was in my dream wedding dress my daughter designed, surrounded my closest female companions in their dresses, Jess also designed. It couldn't be any more perfect.
"I can't have a photo with my makeup like this!" so Jess fixed my makeup, she was becoming quite good at it Michael has been teaching her. She also touched up everyone else's makeup because we had all been crying. We had a picture taken then left.
We all went to lunch at McDonald's, how classy after picking the perfect wedding dress. I know. I sat down and started smiling at my engagement ring releasing that I'll soon have to it off. After a while I conversation about home came up, that was when Laura arrived at the table with the 2 trays of food piled high. I took mine and Jess's chicken selects they were our favorite, besides chicken nuggets. Oi Oi. Oh my, they are my favorite but I just fancied a change. We all started talking about what Simon and Angelo are supposedly doing today.
I looked at my ring once more only to see the one person lurking over Laura's shoulder I didn't want to see especially today. He looked at the ring on my finger then back at me then to Jess then to Faith. I just ignored him until I realized that he was not going to go away. I had to say something.
I started to speak "Hello..."
