Esme POV
"What did you do to me," I ask. "I marked you." "Why?" "Cause if I didn't you would of died right then and there." I don't say anything. "Can I see the mark?" He gets a mirror so I can see it. "Look," when I look in the mirror I see a large scar that had to get 35 stitches. "Why is it so big," I ask. "I found out I'm a hybrid. And when it happened I started to feed off of your blood and when I started taking to much blood Brent and Aaron pulled me off you and that tore some skin and, and now for me to stay alive I have to feed off of you once and a while." "Couldn't you kill me?" "No, unless I take a lot each time I feed off of you." "Okay," is all I say. "At least your getting your strength and speed back." "How?" "I'll tell you later you get some rest, you'll be out of this hospital in a few weeks then you can come home with me." "Okay, I love you." "I love you too," then he gives me a kiss on the forehead.
Jack POV
After a while of letting Esme rest I go to the cafeteria and get some food, for myself and bring some to Esme when she wakes. "He is so cute should I talk to him," I hear a girl say at a near table. "Yeah. Definitely he's really hot," the girls friend says. "Okay," the she gets up and walks toward me. "Uh... hi I'm Samantha but you can call me Sam. What's your name?" "Jack, and I already have a girlfriend. And I don't date if I didn't make it more clear." "Your a wolf-," I cut her off. "Can you please leave," I snap. "I'll see you again. And I will find your girlfriend and I will kill her, I can promise you-," I cut her off and grab her by the neck and throw her across the room and say with my alpha power, "Don't you ever talk about my Esme like that again or I will kill you myself," then I get Esmes food and go to her room.
