Jack POV
As I sit next to Esme I wait for the nurse to come in and tell me about how Esme is going to be. She's been out for a week and I'm a little scared. "Jack." "Huh!?! Esme are you ok?" "Yeah. But under no circumstances, DO NOT EVER RUN AWAY FROM ME AGAIN LIKE THAT!?!? Okay?" "I know that year was really lonely without you," then Lilly walks in. "Esme your up!" "Yeah thanks for comming." "Anything for a friend."
I don't say anything I just let my tears stream down my face and give Lilly a thank you smile. "Don't cry Esme," then she comes over and gives me a hug while I'm sitting up. "Jack can we have a minute?" "I'm sorry Esme but I'm scared to leave you alone right now so I'm sorry but no." "Okay. Then I'll tell you later Lilly." "Okay then she just sits and puts a hand on my shoulder.
"Thank you both for being here it means so much to me that my friend and mate are here supporting me through this." "Your welcome Esme," they say at the same time. "I hope you guys can get along. Because that would make me so happy." They don't say anything just look at each other and smile. "We can't we be friends?" "What the hell," then Lilly and Jack hug?!?!
"Esme I'll see you on Friday because that's when you can get out." "Okay, I love you guys. And get along okay?" Lilly nods and Jack says "Okay," then they leave.
