"Baby, you need to wake up now. Wake up, baby girl, it's half six." Came a sleepy voice. I groaned, and rolled over so I was on my stomach, and buried my face in my pillow. I didn't want to get up or leave my bed. Couldn't I just stay here? "Come on, Dani, get up."
I groaned again and sleepily gathered the strength to pull myself up. I was still half asleep, and pushed up so I was on my knees, facing the red painted walls of our bedroom. The bedroom Jake and I shared. I felt him next to me. His presence was unsettling , but I sleepily smiled, putting a strand of looses blonde hair begind my ear.
"Morning." I muttered, turning to face him. He was still in bed, his head on the pillow next to me, looking at me through his big brown eyes. His cosmic blue hair was ruffled and he looked tired. I jumped off the bed, sighing. I looked around the room. It was quite big, for a little house. I didn't like the room, though. It was painted red, with posters of emo bands covering the walls. The creme carpet held a double bed with a white bedspread, filled with black swirly patterns and flowers.
There were two large pine wardrobes, a dressing table for me, a desk with all of Jake's school revision and homework sprawled along it, untouched, and an oversized shoe rack with his shoes on it.
I flung upon my wardrobe, and felt the eyes of Jake on me. "Did you sleep well?" Yeah, like you care.
"Like a rock." I said, nodding, scanning through what to wear. The sun was shining through the window, so I shrugged. "The right weather for shorts, I think." I mumbled to myself, pulling down a pair of blue denim high-waisted shorts and a white T-shirt with the Union Jack on. I browsed through my shoes, which were thrown at the bottom of my wardrobe, and picked my red Vans.
I threw the outfit on the bed. Jake smiled. "I like those shorts on you. Your legs look good in them." He purred, struggling to get out of the bed.He stood up, yawning and stretching his arms. He put his hands down his dark blue plaid boxers, the way boys did. I ignored his comment with a glare, and he snickered. "Baby, it was just a compliment. Do you need to shower?"
"Yeah, I couldn't have one last night as I was working late." I bit my lip, then ran my fingers through my messy hair, and slammed the wardrobe shut."You having one?"
He shrugged. "After you. I'll wait." His voice was kind of quiet as it was really early, but he had that evil seductive look on his face. It made me feel uneasy, and I stood there still as he stepped closer to me. "Be quick, Dani." he whispered right in my ear, sending shivers down my spine. " I don't like waiting." he mumbled.
I nodded, and grabbed my clothes and took them into the bathroom. Jakes parents paid for this house, and they are wealthy like mine, so the house is bigger than it should be for two teenagers. The bathroom was modern, with buttermilk colored walls , tiled floors, and an expensive sleek toilet, shower and sink. There was also the obvious things; toilet paper, a towel rack and a mirror.
In the bathroom, I dumped my clothes on the floor and looked at my reflection in the mirror. How could people think I was pretty? I hated the way I looked. It was one of those sights where you just cringed. My hair was a mess, I had no make-up on and it was too early.
Then, I heard the bathroom door open. Jake appeared and frowned. "Why shut the door?" He questioned, and I looked at him through the mirror.
"Sorry, I just..need to shower." I said quickly, and turned around to face him.
He snaked his arms around my waist from behind, and I could tell he was smiling. "I said i'll wait for you. Here." He looked down at my Hello Kitty pink pajama shorts and matching vest. He stood behind me, and kept one hand on my waist. The other took hold of the first strap on my vest. He peeled it off, and I slid my arm through, and did the same with the other one. I put my arms up and he pulled the dress over my head.
I felt awkward, uncomfortable and wanted to run. But I couldn't.
Jake continued undressing me, and put two thumbs on either side of my shorts, then slowly pulled them down, so they slid down to my ankles.I stepped out of them, and he gently grabbed my hair, and pulled it over my right shoulder. Then, he pressed his lips against my neck, flicking his tongue down onto my shoulder.
I winced. "Jake, stop it. I need to shower." I demanded, stepping away from him and swiveling the knob on the shower so it turned on. I stretched my arm over my chest, and he shut the bathroom door, and leaned his back against it.
I still had my purple tight wrist bracelets on. I never took them off. They his something so painful words couldn't fully describe them. But they were my self harm scars. I don't know if Jake knows or not, but he wouldn't care either way. I looked at the floor, and closed my eyes for a moment.
Jake smirked. "Don't pretend you don't like it, Dani."
"I'm not pretending." I muttered, standing in the shower, letting the warmth of the water soothe my muscles. The whole time I showered, Jake stayed against the door, his eyes on me, on my body. I felt disgusted.
