Eilif's POV

"Bye grandpa! Bye dad!" I said as I go out from our house, este mansyon ng grandpa ko. Grandpa is currently in the living room talking to someone on the phone. Huminto siya sa pag-uusap at tumingin sa'kin. "Bye lif, take care of yourself there, alright buddy!" Sabi ni grandpa ng nakangiti. "You too, grandpa."

Actually mayaman ang family namin, so we can afford to buy our own house but grandpa won't allow us to leave because of my father. I won't blame my father for that, since I know how much he'd been through. Naranasan ko rin yun, mas malala nga lang ng unti sa kanya. I have lost my mother but he had lost a once in a lifetime lover. Mom died because of an accident that I don't even have the slightest clue of. She died when I was still little, so I don't quite remember her real face other than the beautiful woman on the picture that hangs on the wall of my room.

My father was a former CEO of our family's famous wine company. Muntikan na ngang bumagsak ang business namin but fortunately, aunt Lucy were around. She is my dad's twin sister. She saved our company by her amazing skills, I don't know how did she pull that off but she had successfully bring a large group of rich business people who help us to strengthen our company again based from my grandpa's stories. Kaya simula noon hindi na pinagkatiwala ni grandpa ang business kay dad.

Dad was already outside. "Good luck son. I'm really proud of you." Sabay tap ni dad sa balikat ko. He smiled at me, a sight that I often see. My dad really loved my mom so much that when mom died, nalungkot siya ng sobra at umabot sa puntong nag attempt na siyang magsuicide. Ilang beses niya na raw iyon ginawa sabi ni grandpa but I only witness it once when I was 6. Because of this reason, ayaw kaming paalisin ni grandpa sa bahay niya. Siguro para sa kapakanan na rin to ni dad kaya ayos lang rin naman sa' kin yon.

I returned his smile. Dinala ko pababa ng hagdan ang maleta ko where our driver kuya Bien is waiting. If you're thinking that I am running away from home or I'm going abroad, then you guessed wrong. Pupunta lang naman ako sa one of the prestigious school of our country, namely Sanguine Lunctus University. Napagdesisyonan na kasi namin nila dad na doon na ako magiistay hanggang makagraduate ako, kung makagraduate ako. Since ang tatanggalin dun ang mga babagsak.

Sa totoo lang masyado akong kinabahan sa results ng entrance exam ko, matalino naman ako pero mga above normal lang hindi parang sobrang talino katulad ni Draven. Yeah right, that Draven guy, I never thought that he will help me that time. Thanks to him umabot ako sa mga top notchers at natuwa sakin si dad. Well yun kasi talaga ang goal ko eh, ang matuwa siya.

Ever since I was a child, grandpa and dad want me to enter Sanguine Lunctus University. Grandpa said that I should enter that school because he sees some potential in me to run the family's company and the school will be a great help to improve my skills. Dad wants me to enter the school since it was the place where he and mom met and fall in love.

Two days bago ang pasukan. Mabuti na rin 'to upang makapaglibot-libot ako at makakilala ng mga kaibigan. Now I wonder, magdodorm din kaya si Draven?

Binigyan kasi lahat ng mga nakapasang estudyante na gustong magdorm sa school. Since wala paring pasok ngayon, parang pang identify na lang na isa ka sa mga magiging estudyante dito. Naabutan ko sa gate ang ladyguard na kinakausap ang isang nagmamakaawang babae.

"Ateee, sige na po. Papasukin niyo na po akoo. Huhuh nakalimutan ko lang po talaga yung ID ko. Icheck niyo pa po sa Head ng school o kung sino pang personnel na nakakaalam sa mga nakapasa, makikita niyong nakalista ako dun." Sabi nung babae. "Sorry talaga miss pero hindi talaga pwede eh, mahigpit na pinagbabawal ang magpapasok ng walang ID."
