Draven's POV

The Sanguine Lunctus University Management memo declares that there will be no curfew for all students in their respective dorms. In that case, we can all stay up all night for Aquilla Festival for one week. But we are prohibited to go out of the campus. Oh well, what's the interesting part outside? The three forests coated the university? No fun at all.

The university is like the inner core of the earth if you are at the back of the campus but if you are in front, you are at the mantle layer, but still you cannot go outside because of the strict security. You can only escape using the back portion of the university, wherein there is poor security but three forests before the city. It is secreted but well known and famous in the world. It is now second to the last day of the fest and I am so tired throughout.

"Yow, I have to go." I said to Eilif.

"Wait bro, sama na ako sayo, inaantok na rin ako e." he said. "Fine." We are walking and we are already two hundred meters away the crowd and...

"Draven, tago!" he pulled me down behind the thriving shrubs. "

Dalhin mo si Ylonna sa second forest away from the campus, susunod nalang kami. Sige. Ingatan niyo siya. Lagot kayo sa akin kapag pinakialaman niyo siya."

"Ian, bilisan na natin baka may di inaaasahan pang mangyari."

"Wala ka bang tiwala sa mga kaibigan natin? Haha chill, di tayo mahuhuli."

"Sigurado ka bang ginusto yan ng girlfriend mo? Kahit na madaming magbabago sa kanya?"

"Oo naman, pumayag na siya. At isa pa, para Malaya kaming magmahalan."

"I cringe bruuuh, goosebumps oh. Ang cheesy mo. Ugh"

"Hahaha, let's go na nga." There are two men in black, I guess they are senior students in SLU. We heard them talking some sort of interesting. Nagkatinginan nalang kami ni Eilif and then nagkasundo na sundan sila. We followed them slowly and slowly but the two speed up their walking.

"Pagkakataon ko na ba ito para matupad ko yung pinangako ko, para sumali ka ng music competition at pageant? Hahaha." Eilif whispered.

"But then again, it's not from your own effort." I said.

"Pero ang point is you can visit your family. Still, I grant your wish. Quits pa rin tayo mah men!"

"Dami mong satsat, shut your mouth, we might be caught." In this matter, Eilif's right, I can now visit them and ask them about my nightmares.

"Sorna haha..." tinakpan ko bibig niya.

"Ingay mo. Tsk"

"Wait, jijingle lang ako pre, kaw muna diyan magbantay."

"Sama na ako, kanina pa ako, ihing ihi e. wala naman atang lalabas ng University, busy silang lahat mag-enjoy sa fest at isa pa, may punishments."

"Ah sabagay. Saglit lang naman tayo e." The two armed guards go to the restrooms ten meters away from the gate. The two men in black, speed up towards the gate, we were so shocked about we have had witnessed.

"Vampires!" Eilif mumbled.

"Draven bro, wag na nating ituloy, nangangatog na binti ko oh."

"Sasama k aba o ako nalang mag-isa?" I asked.

"Sigurado ka ba? Hayss, sige na nga, baka anong mangyari sayo e." sabay kamot ng ulo niya. We run out of the gate and followed them. We speed up as fast as we could, pero di pa rin namin sila kayang maabutan. They are already too far from us and all we can see ay ang parang nahating forest na parang dinaanan ng tornado but it's not that destructed. And that benefited us, that lead us to the right way they are going to. I think were already in the second forest but how come it seems that it's dead end?
