Chapter 9

Sierra's POV

Nagising ako ng may narinig akong kakaiba sa labas ng dormroom ko. I checked my clock posted in the wall right in front of me. Its 3:00 in the morning, patuloy pa rin ang ingay na naririnig ko at napagpasyahan kong lumabas para alamin kung ano ang meron.

Paglabas ko, natigil ang ingay at naging peaceful ulit ang paligid but a broken flowerpot caught my attention. My eyes wandered everywhere but wala naman na akong nakitang kakaiba. Tutal di naman na ako inaantok, I decided to roam around and have a walk. Humanap ako ng mauupuan saglit and found a bench under a big tree and sit when suddenly may humatak ng kamay ko and pulled me forcefully to stand that makes my legs tremble.

I feel the cold tight hands in my wrist and pushed me under the tree, with a glimpse his aromatic presence invaded me. I feel his breath. I'm trapped in him, he smells so great. It happened so fast and his hands clamped against my mouth preventing me to scream.

I feel so weak dahil sa malakas na pagkatulak niya sa akin sa puno. All I know is that I'm threatened and afraid; I can't see him 'because my eyes were closed. His nose and lips are riskily persistent over the curve where my neck and shoulder meet. My heart beats too fast. My eyes started to water and the tears silently flowed. Then he placed his other hand in my waist and his lips slowly pressed against my skin. I closed my eyes much tighter. I don't know what will gonna happen. I cried and my breathing fastened.

"You smell so delicious." he whispered. His voice seems very familiar. My knees feels like jelly and my arms were dead and inflexible. I felt his mouth opening slightly. His hands held onto my waist tighter. He inhaled deep and opened his mouth wider; I can feel his fangs already touching my neck. Is it my dead end? My plans aren't done yet. I opened my eyes but with a whoosh of air he disappeared right before my eyes.

"Thank goodness!" I sighed. Parang umiikot ang buong paligid ko and all I know is I'm about to fall. Nagising ako after the bell rang. I'm still here at the same place pero nakahiga na ako sa bench na inupuan ko kanina. I feel the hot beam of light in my skin, agad akong napaupo and reminisced what just happened a while ago.

After thirteen years nakaencounter na naman ako ng isang creature na sinusumpa ko. Ang pinagkaiba lang ay ako ang biktima. Napaisip lang ako kung bakit nawala siya bigla ng parang bula. I feel my blood aroused in anger and my fist were totally closed though my knees are still shaking. I remembered all my plans and goals that let me decide to get over and move on.

Pinilit kong tumayo at bumalik sa dormroom para mag-ayos sa pagpasok sa klase ko. "Who's that f*cking jerk? I need to find it out." I'm still not ready for myself to cope that kind of scenario. Whenever I'm in that scene in my dreams, I feel so helpless and weak. I can't fight it.

"SieSie! Anong pinagsasabi mo diyan? Sinong umaaway sayo jan?" si Eilif habang tinuturo-turo kung saan ako nakatingin. "Pang-asar ka naman, nanggugulat ka e, alis nga dito." sagot ko. "Eh kanina ka pa jan nagpopoint out ng mga bagay sa harap mo. And it seems that you're so annoyed by them. Turo mo nga sakin para masapak ko na, alin jan? Siya ba? Hahaha" while pointing nothing.

After his statement, pinukpok ko sa ulo niya ang hawak kong lapis. "Aray ko naman!" he pouted. "Nakakainis ka. Leave me alone!" pagsusungit ko sa kanya. Bumalik siya na siya sa kanyang seat with Draven. Tiningnan ko sila, Draven is looking at me as well. Is there something in him? Parang ang odd ng aura niya ngayon.

I immediately go to their place and sit beside him. "Oh ano namang ginagawa mo dito? Ba't dito ka naupo? Akala ko ba gusto mong maging alone?" Eilif Hale asked. "Hmm, I changed my mind Hehehe ^__^" sabi ko. "Uyy DrayDray, anong nakain mo? Ba't ganyan ang itsura mo?" tanong ko. Di niya ako pinansin at tiningnan lang ako. And suddenly he grabbed my hands at nakita kong may pasa ang wrist ko at saka ko tinago.
